Horizon Zero Dawn is a best selling title on the PS4, shifting more than 10 million copies, while it was ported to PC in August las💮t year. The game features a beautiful post-apocalyptic world, ably powered by Guerrilla Games' Decima engine. Players can enjoy the experience of moving through that world as Aloy in 4K and in v🎀arious framerates, depending on the system being played on, but the option to play it in VR was unavailable.
That is, until now. VR modding specialist Luke Ross has created a VR mod for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Horizon Zero Dawn that lets players inhabit the world of Horizon through the eyes of Aloy. Released via Ross' patreon, fans can vieꦉw how 𒈔well the mod works via a video recently uploaded to YouTube.
The VR mod enables first-person view and the results look seriously immersive. Inhabiting the lush world of Horizon from the perspective of Aloy, with trees, water, and landsc🤪ape within first-person view, looks impressive. Tracking the AI robot creatur𒊎es the game is known for, and hunting them, also takes on a special flavour in VR.
The VR mod was demonstrated by Cas of the YouTube channel Cas and Chary VR. "For the first time ever, it's possible to see the most astounding ജpost-apocalyptic world in first-person VR as Aloy," reads the description.
Luke Ross, the creator of the mod, is knoꦛwn for VR conversions having done the same for the likes of Mafia 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Red Dead Redemption 2. This latest modification seems to run fairly well, although tests ha🤡ve shown it (via ). However, as Cas says in her YouTube playthrough, you might need "strong VR legs" in order to play as Aloy and overcome motion issues.
Ross' mod also allඣows the option to toggle between first-person and third-person, among other UI and visual options. The Horizon Zero Dawn VR mod is currently available to download for supporters. To install it, Cas' video has a guide starting at 19 minutes and 30 seconds.
