In a recent interview with Empire Magazine, actress Milla Jovovich revealed that her character in Paul W.S. Anderson's upcoming 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Monster Hunter film uses the same weapon as her in-game character. If it wasn't evident from that sentence, J🐈ovovich is an avid fan of Capcom's massively popular series and wanted to show her love for the game by representing the Dual-Blades on screen. That's an exceptionally cool little detail.
"Although Milla's character's not specifically in the game," director Anderson said, "she ℱchose the same armour and weapons she uses in the game, so there were aspects of her game character that got folded into the movie representation." Jovovich was more adept at taking down monsters with the Dual-Blades, hence their inclusion.
"I experimented with different weapons during the game and was able to kill more monsters with those blades," Jovovich stated. "I thought they'd look really beautiful in an action sequence." To give fans a glimpse of that,♓ Empire has an exclusive photo of Jovovich wielding the deadly twosome.
Empire's website teases more information in its upcoming issue, which is scheduled for release on July 9, 2020. It will likely cover more information about how Andersoꦛn and Jovovich brought over their love for Capcom's series to the big screen, which is starting to make me optimistic about this film. Maybe this will end up being good!
What I'm not so optimistic about is its intended September 4, 2020, release. With even Disney consistently delaying the release of its live-action Mulan remake, I don't see Sony sticking to that date. We've hear🥀d and seen almost nothing and the film is supposedly two months away. That seems like a big stretch for what 💙is supposed to be a major tentpole release.
At least everyone involved seems to care a lot about the franchise they are adapting. I've never been a fan of Anderson's work (the Resident Evil movies are p💝retty terri🌊ble), but you can't knock his passion. With more involvement from Capcom this time around, there's a really good chance we'll be having a rip-roaring good time at the theaters soon...though it will probably be in our homes.
