The region does not matter. Your Palico will offer the quest at every Base Camp in the game.
Where To Find A Giant Vigorwasp
As you are likely already aware, Vigorwasps are a form of endemic life that carry a massive sac of, well, vigor. Bursting this releases a cloud that slowly heals you as you're inside it. They're found almost everywhere and in every weather, day or nigh𒀰t. They save you using your own healing, and affect everyone that steps inside.
Giant Vigorwasps are the exact same but bigger and better. They release a bigger cloud, last longer, and heal faster. They are also much rarer, and only appear during the Plenty. However, they ca𝔍n be found in every region, and the easiꦿest place to consistently find them is the Windward Plains.
You can change the time of day and season by resting in a tent, be it at Bas🗹e Camp orജ a Pop-Up Camp.
During the Plenty, head to the Oasis in the Windward Plains, and you will find a Giant Vigorwasp just fluttering about. Catch it in the Capture Net to satisfy your Palico's request. Heading back to 𒆙Base Camp to speak with them, they will improve one of their existing abilities, restoring even more of your HP in the middle of combat.
