Deviljho has earned a memetic status among the Monster Hunter fan community due to its connection to another monster called Qurupeco. The hunt for a Qurupeco happens during a low-ranked mission, where you will commonly encounter the easier monsters in the game. Qurupeco has the ability to mimic the cry of other creatures, which means it can potentially summon a Deviljho to the field at 🎶a point where most players will be too weak to fight it. This has earned Deviljho a reputation as one of the deadliest creatures in the series, due to its love of devouring new hunters.

The Monster Hunter franchise was incredibly popular in Japan throughout the 2000s. This was due to the Monster Hunter titles that appeared on the PlayStation Portable, which made the local multiplayer aspect of the game a daily occurrence for many players in Japan. The series didn't find much of an audience outside of Japan during th✃is period because the PlayStation Portable had a relatively small audience and dealt with piracy on top of that.

The Monster Hunter series has established an audience for itself in the west thanks to the titles that appeared on the Nintendo 3DS. Capcom appears to have a lot of faith in the idea that Monster Hunter World will help the franchise become a huge success in North America, as they have promoted the game heavily ever since its announcement. The regular free downloadable updates schedule helped to keep games like Splatoon within the gaming news, so it stands to reason that Monster Hunter World will be helped in the same way, so long as Capcom can make the updates as ex🧔citing as 🔯the return of Deviljho to the series.

Monster Hunter World will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Jan. 26, 2018, ♎with a PC version coming out near the end of 2🎃018.
