Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is about to get a lot angrier. Capcom has announced that the next title update for its hit action title (heading to consoles in March and PC in April) will introduce Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang into the mix. Beefed up, angry as hell variants of some of Iceborne's tougher monsters, this could wind up being the most difficult content World has to offer.
Raging Brachydios was . This unique twist on the original was given more explosive properties. His slime could not only cover a wider distance, but it could explode on impact. In Iceborne, Raging will likely be similar to Savage Deviljho in that he'll♕ always be enraged.
The same can be said for Furious Rajang. Hailing from the , his uniqu🎐e abilities are being more aggressive and dealing higher damag𝕴e output. From the trailer below, it seems he'll also be in perpetual rage mode, which is never a good thing. The Guiding Lands are going to become quite a bit more dangerous after this update.
This latest update will be the final one where console and PC players are out of sync. Starting in April, both versi🏅ons will attain parity with each other. There's the hope that crossplay will get added to the mix, but we're still uncertain on that. At least everyone will be facing new monsters at the same time, allowing the entire community to formulate strateඣgies together.
As for what's next, we're still left with the vague "fan-favorite monster." I'm putting money on Monster Hunter 4's Gore Magala seeing as how World hasn't introduced any creatures originating from that game (Raging Brachydios aside). Capcom is paying homage to basically every iteration of Monster Hunter in World, so i꧒t would m༒ake sense for that monster to get added.
Beyond that, who can say? There is a tremendous amount of content in both the regular World and Iceborne. It's surprising that Capcom has managed to continuously add new missions and events for this long. It's unlikely weꦬ'll see a sequel soon, but does there even need to be one yet?
