While damage dealing monsters in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Monster Sanctuary are an important part of team building, they wouldn't be able to last very long without the support of clerics to keep them healthy. Usually equipped with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:healing skills and buffing abilities to keep the team alive and kicking, clerics are often the difference between victory and defeat ܫin harder battles.

These monsters can be found fairly frequently, though not all monsters with healing abilities are worth usiꦛng for those skills, as they may not have the right stats to properly utilize those skills or they may be better suited for offense rather than defense.

Updated July 8, 2022 by Ryan Bamsey: With various updates and the free Forgotten World DLC now released, the high-level meta of Monster Sanctuary has changed yet again. With all the new balance tweaks and new monsters to consider, we've taken another pass at this list and added some new faces!

12 Blob

Monster Sanctuary Blob

The first healer you are likely to use, as well as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the first ꧃monster you obtain in the game, is the humble Blob. While Blobs might not seem all that impressive, th🔯ey are decent healers and combo extenders thanks to Arcane Bolt, Heal, and eventually Healing Wave at their disposal.

Blob also gets the Heal Charging skill when Light-Shifted, which gives charge stacks to any team members it heals dur🐟ing battle and can further increase damage output alongside its Wizardry skill, which grants the Sorcery and Channel buff to all allies. Overall, Blob is a decent healer, but it can be overshadowed very quickly thanks to a lack of🃏 status healing and raw firepower.

11 Grummy

Monster Sanctuary Grummy

Another of the very eಌarly game clerics you are likely to obtain, the Grummy is a pretty versatile monster with access to a range of skills. Its affinity for healing specifically only comes in towards the tail-end of the game thanks to its ability combination of Remunerate, Shared Regeneration, and Multi Regeneration. This trifecta makes it so that whenever the Grummy inflicts a status ailment, it has a good chance to bless the party with stacks of Regenerate.

With its unique aura, Regeneration Shield, and its straight-up shielding abilities, Grummy becomes a great monster for keeping the part🥀y alive. This is especially true with Restoring Shield and Age of Purification, which both help keep nasty status effects at bay.

10 G'rulu

Monster Sanctuary Grulu

One of the first evolutions you may obtain in Monster Sanctuary is G'rulu, which evolves from Grummy by using a Stardust evolution catalyst. G'rulu trades the Grummy's shielding abilities for more explicit healing skills, making it better for dealing with high-damage enemies. Notably, it learns Restore and Mass Restore, letting it heal single targets and entire parties when required.

G'rulus also have the same Remunerate/Shared Regeneration/Multi Regeneration skill combo that Grummy has, and its Hexing Support ability gives it some offensive utility on the turns it spends healing.

9 Diavola

Monster Sanctuary Diavola

Diavola may be 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the harder Champion monsters to defeat and obtain, but it is well worth the trouble. Like Grummy and G'rulu, Diavola is a mix of several playstyles that mesh well together, though its best assets are its Restoring Shield and Lifeline skills, which ensure that your team is always going to be healthy in battle.

While Diavola might shine best as an offensive shielder rather than a healer, it has enough passive and active skills in its arsen♛al to be great at either one or both if you need it.

8 ⛄ Changeling

Monster Sanctuary Changeling

Changling is designed to be 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:used for just about everything, which is reflected not only in its balanced stats across the board but also its constantly shifting character model in and out of battle. While it can simply be used as a Bleed stacker or combo extender with Slash andꦍ Arcane Bolt, it also has both Restoring Shie🍰ld and Encapsulate to ensure that your monsters are healthy and shielded.

It also has some fantastic supportive passives, such as Assistance, Sidekick Support, and Buffing Heal, that make it a great all-around utility healer. This is emphasized by its Light-Shifted ability, which improves buff abili♛ties by letting them grant extra stacks.

7 Sh🦩ockhopper

Monster Sanctuary Shockhopper

This strange-looking bird may be a li✱ttle annoying to obtain, but it is well worth the hassle. Like many other clerics, Shockhopper also has some pretty decent power behind its attacks and is capable of inflicting multiple stacks of Chill and Shock, but its real strength c⛄omes from its healing abilities.

With both Restore and Mass Restore, alongside its Light-Shift skill Curse Breaker, which removes one debuff from each monster in the party at the beginning of the turn, means that it is just as good at preventing monsters from being knocked out as it is helping to knock out opposing monsters. It even has 𝄹a healing Ultimate option in Mega Restore.

6 Amberlgna

Monster Sanctuary Amberlgna

If you're looking for pure, high-numbers healing, an Amberlgna makes for a great choice. Heal and Healing Wave make for decent main skills, but Lifechannel is where it shines. This is because of Channeling Sustain, an aura that adds a powerful regen effect to your Channel buffs - which can be buffed even further with Multi Channel.

This monster even has a unique attacking move in Sap Splatter. While it doesn't deal a ton of damage, it's an attack that comes with an all-party heal, and it synergizes well with Auto Restore, Sticky Impact, and Mentor.

5 Arachlich

Monster Sanctuary Arachlich

Arachlich is something of a mixed bag when it comes to its role on teams. On the one hand, it is a phenomenal debuffer and damage dealer in its Dark-Shifted form, as its passive skill, Dark Instinct, increases all damage dealt by 20 percent, as well as having the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Congeal passive skill and being one of the best Chill debuffers in the game. In addition, giving enemies the Blind status with Shadow Storm is another way to stay healthy - attacks that miss don't deal damage!

On the other hand, its Light Shifted form, along with its Heal Charging skill makes it great in a supporting role as well. With both Encapsulate and Revive, as well as it being one of the few monsters with Phoenix Affinity to save it from death once per battle, it's a monster that you should definitely look into adding to your team once you reach the Underworld.

4 Oculus

Monster Sanctuary Oculus

This little machine plays a lot like Arachlich, with access to Tether debuffs and the capacity to deal some serious damage through Burn and Poison stacks as well as the Fatal Upkeep passive skill, which increases the efficiency of damaging debuffs. However, where Arachlich is focused on keeping your team alive, Oculus' focus is more on shielding, with access to Encapsulate being its biggest boon.

Oculus does have a fairly low Health stat for a healer, though that isn't enough to hold it back thanks to its high Mana, Magic, and Defense stats.

3 🍬 Plague Egg

Monster Sanctuary Plague Egg

On the surface, Plague Egg looks like it would be a debuffer more than anything else, as most monsters with a poisonous aesthetic seem to be, but Plague Egg brings so much more to the table. Aside from having the Cleansing Flame skill that removes the opponent's debuffs, it also has Encapsulate, Healing Wave, and Revive to keep the rest of your team healthy while it inflicts all manner of debuffs on the opposition.

Plague Egg's greatest strength, aside from its healing abilities, might be its Overheal ability when Dark-Shifted. This makes any healing you do to monsters that would heal it above max health will actually grant it a shield for a portion of that amount.
