The first trailer for Sony/Marvel's Morbius dropped earlier today, and it fea✨tures a curious n♐od to on PS4.

In 2019, the already complicated relationship between Disney and Sony got even more complex. After leaving fans with the most tantalizing of cliffhangers via Spider-Man: Far From Home's credit scene (beware, spoilers dead ahead) the two parties fell out. Since Sony owns the♕ movie rights to Spidey and had been allowing Disney to share them for a short while, the studio was within its rights to take the web-slinger back.

And that's exactly what they did. Thankfully, talks continued and Disney and Sony have come to some sort of agreement. It's assumed that the pair will continue to work together, but even more closely than they were before. By that, we mean that the two separate c🥀inematic universes will become one, or crossover, or we're getting a multiverse. It's really not that clear yet.

However, we may have gotten our first clue via the release of the trailer forMorbius, Sony's next Marvel movi✅e which hits theaters this summer. Jared Leto plays the villainous vampire and fans have now had a good look at what to expect from the former Joker. Eagle-eyed fans will have also noticed Leto/Morbius walk past a Spider-Man poster with the word "murderer" scrawled across it in graffiti. Check it out for yourselv🙈es in the trailer below.

The graffiti is a reference to Tom Holland's Spider-Man, but the Spidey on the poster is the one portrayed by Tobey Maguire during the early 2000s. Sony's first crack at the Spider-Man franchise. It's also the exact same image used to reveal the addition of Maguire's suit to Marvel's Spider-Man on PS4, so it could just be a nod to the game.

As for further ties between various Spider-Man universes, the trailer ends with a quick shot and line from Michael Keaton aka Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming. Seems as if a lot of different worlds are going to clash, and those clashes will begin in Morbius. The MCU's, Sony's, and maybe e♛ven PS4's various versions of Spider-Man could all appear in the same movies going forward, and we are most definitely here for it.
