An insider has claimed that Conan the Barbarian might be one of the guest characters included in 's (still not used to that) first Kombat Pack.

After years of hype and speculation over what NetherRealm Studios was up to next being shattered in an instant 🐲by a Warner Bros. earnings call confirming that a new Mortal Komb🦄at was on the way, we've heard a lot of rumours about the next game in the series. The first is that it's apparently called Mortal Kombat 1 and aiming for a release in September, which tracks with r168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ecen💮t teases t♐hat suggest a timeline reset.

The other most noteworthy rumour is one from Windows Central that suggests that DC's Peacemaker and The Boys' Homelander will be guest characters featured in the first Kombat Pack. Now, Windows Central's Jez Corden has detailed another guest character who he has heard might be appearing in the game - Conan the Barbarian.

, Corden spoke about . This leads him to talk about Conan the Barbarian, the third guest character that he's mentioned hearing rumours about making an appearance, although he's not currently sure if it's just the comic version of the character or the Arnold Schwarzenegger iteration.

Corden said, "There's also a few other characters that I know about. I've heard Conan the Barbarian might be a character". When asked by Rand al Thor whether Corden means the book version of the character or the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie version, Corden replied with, "I don't know if it's Arnold Schwarzenegger's version or just the book version of Conan the Barbarian".

After bringing up Conan the Barbarian, Corden mentioned that he wasn't 100 percent sure about any of the rumoured guest characters making it into the game, but that it's just what he's heard on the game so far. For now, it's worth taking with a pinch of salt, but it certainly sounds like there's a lot more emphasis being put on guest characters this time around.

It's worth noting that, as fun as it is to imagine Homelander, Peacemaker, and Conan being added to Mortal Kombat, series creator Ed Boon recently retweeted a video from YouTuber unCAGEDgamez that called out the insider information as being false and unlikely to be true. Boon shared the video on his Twitter a few days ago, saying, "Great video by unCAGEDgamez shootin’ down the rumors!", which suggests that they might not be true, or at least that Boon wants people to think that they're not. We'll have to wait for the full reveal, whenever that might be.
