168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat 1 is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:NetherRealm's biggest undertaking yet, taking up more development time than any other previous game in the series. This is according to Ed Boon, who just shared some more details on the game over on the NetherRealm Twitch channel.

In the livestream, Boon said that this long development period will "show" in the final product - the first to leave the PS4 and Xbox One behind. This is despite Mortal Kombat 1 sticking to the same four-year gap between sequels that we've come to expect in recent years, suggesting there may have been some overlap between this and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat 11's development, not just its ongoing support.

"We've been working on this game... I think longer than any Mortal Kombat game, and it's going to show," says Boon. "You're going to be excited to see the stuff that we can't wait to tell you about."

The livestream didn't give away much more than that, but it did confirm some features that had been rumoured for the next Mortal Kombat game. Perhaps most excitingly, new game modes have been confirmed, although we don't know what these will be. Ed Boon has frequently teased a return of Konquestꦉ mode, something that has been criminally absent from the series for years now. It's safe to say that NetherRealm knows how much fans want this, so it's possible that it will be confirmed closer to the launch.

On top of that, we're getting new gameplay mechanics. It's possible that this was in reference to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:already-announced Kameo f🐎ighter system, which will see a selection of characters support the main roster during fights. In fact, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:if a leaked Amazon s𓂃tore page is to be believed, we might already know some of the fighters that have been relegated to this support class. If the page turns out to be legitimate, then we can expect Tremor, Johnny Cage, Khameleon, Mavado, and Ferra to appear as DLC Kameos. Interestingly, we know that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Johnny Cage is on the main roster too, so this Kameo character could be another version of him, especially with the game's story seemingly allowing for alternative universes.

Also according to the Amazon page, Quan Chi, Ermac, and Takeda will be available after launch, as will Homelander, Peacemaker, and Omni Man as guest fighters. It seems that all of these characters, including the Kameos, will appear in the first wave of DLC, which can be purchased in the special edition. Frustratingly, it seems that this fighter pack won't include Shang Tsung, who is advertised as a pre-order bonus.
