168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat fans will know that NetherRealm has been trying to get Jean-Claude Van Damme in an MK game foir quite some time, ever since the series first launched way back in the 90s in fact. Mortal Kombat 1 will finally achieve that ambitious goal thanks to its Van Damme DLC skin for Johnny Cage, which we've now been given our first look at in a new interview with series creator Ed Boon.
Speaking with Sean Evans in the latest episode of Hot Ones - ashow which sees interviewees each chicken wings with gradually increasing spice levels - Ed Boon talks a little bit about what it took to bring Van Damme to the series and shows off a brief bit of footage of the skin in action. When I say brief, I mean brief too, as all we ge🌟t is a short clip of a younger Van Damme flipping off Johnny Cage with Sonya Blade stood beside him.
Speaking on Van Damme's inclusion in Mortal Kombat , Boon states that it's a "full circle moment", given that he originally wanted to make a Van Damme arcade game before coming up with Mortal Kombat.
&ꦬquot; We actually wanted to see the words ‘Van Damme’. Bloodsport was big, and so was Universal Soldier, I think," says Boon. "So we called his people, and we were like ‘we want to make a game based on Van Damme’, 𒁏and I don’t know if he declined or just never got to him or something like that."
"But this is, you know, a couple of 20-something-year-old kids who wanted make a videౠo game – I could see how Van Damme would go ‘no, we’re not doing this’. So we tried a number of times, going back and forth with him. This time, we hit the lottery, and we got him. We actually have his voice and he’s🗹 going to be the Johnny Cage character, and it’s the absolute full circle moment that we had."
In other Mortal Kombat news, we also recently got confirmation that Nitara will be returning to the series as a playable fighter in Mortal Kombat 1 for the first time in 17 years. Not only that, but a recent trailer revealed that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:she'll be played by none other than Megan Fox, which adds another high-profile celebrity that is lending their voice to the title. Fans reaction to Nitara's return are pretty postitive, though it seems a lot of people would like the game to bring back her p✤irate lo🌳ok from Mortal Kombat: Armageddon at some point.
