Ermac was unveiled in July earlier this year as part of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat 1's first DLC after months of leaks, rumours, and teases. However, the reveal met with a whimper 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:from fans, many of💛 whom were asking him to please mask up. Now, the in-game design has leaked, and the s𝐆entiment is pretty much the same.

The first look we got at Ermac was from a Kombat Pack render alongside other characters such as Omni-Man and Peacemaker. While the in-game look matches that design, seeing it in-engine gives us a new perspective. And that new perspective has Mortal Kombat 1's Ermac growing on some people. However, the want to cover up his face hasn't gone anywhere.

"If he has a good few masks for his gear option, then honestly this design isn't bad at all," CoreyReynolds said. "His face just looks like a dead kangaroo's nut sack."

Dangelouss notes that the general concept of Ermac is better in MK1, even if his look is a little rocky (or wrinkly), since he isn't a ghost-like phantom gliding through the air anymore. "The hood is still tight to the neck, which annoys me. However, he has feet on the ground and, apparently, is no longer a floating weirdo. I'll take it".

Mrplow8, among others, is mostly concerned that his look is unfamiliar to the Ermac we know and love, even if the execution is better in-game than in the reveal trailer, "He looks a lot cooler in the game [...] He still doesn't really look like Ermac, though."

Others, like Such-Description6541, are big fans of the costume but not who's wearing it, "His outfit looks so cool but his face is literally Voldemort".

Jean Claude van Damme flipping the bird in MK 1

It's not the only design Mortal Kombat fans have been angry at in the past week. We recently got a better look at Jean-Claude Van Damme's Johnny Cage skin, finally bringing the martial artist slash actor to the series after 30 years. Fitting, given he inspired Johnny Cage after he turned down appearing in the very first game.

However, fans think the likeness is a little off, so they've already taken to tweaking and fine-tuning it to make the skin look closer to JCVD. Granted, fan edits are purely visual and don't take into account his movement or expressions, but maybe modders will try their hand at tweaking JCVD once the game launches. And if Ermac doesn't have a mask by the time we get our hands on him, they'll probably sort that too.
