While you wait to upgrade Omni-Man to level 20, though, you might notice that another one of his colour schemes is a reference to Invincible, as his pink colour scheme seems to be a homage to Atom Eve's costume.
Funnily enough, Mark's colour scheme isn't the only way that Invincible appears in Mortal Kombat 1. Omni-Man's tower ending has him taking over the world of Mortal Kombat in order to appease the Viltrumites, which he says is just to buy him some time after failing to conquer Earth. Omni-Man will then say that he hopes his son is ready when the Viltrumites remember his failure, before showing a scene of him fighting Mark in a city that's reminiscent of their fight in the comic.
