Today’s reveal that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat 11 is receiving a massive update with Aftermath is exciting news, featuring the return of Friendships, new stages, more story following the main campaign, and three DLC fighters. Although everything looks great and we cannot wait to play on May 26, the big question at this point that we must ask is — where the hell is Ash Williams from the Evil Dead franchise?

T🌱his is not to say that the three fighters revealed today ar💧e not great, because they are. Sheeva and Fujin are staples that players have wanted to see return to the game for years, and RoboCop is an unexpected but pleasant surprise. We ask the question about Ash Williams because the past year has been filled with signs that the character would make his way into the game, and at this point it seems odd not to have heard anything official.

At first, the addition of Ash to Mortal Kombat 11 was little more than rumor, but combined with Bruce Campbell’s plaꦓyful replies on Twitter, it was easy to believe that something official was in the works. The tweet below is from May 3꧂1, only a couple of months after the official launch of the game.

From there, it seemed like rumors and teasers popped up every so often, but nothing concrete emerged. Eventually the ent💧ire roster for the Kombat Pack 1 was revealed, and not seeing Ash among the fig﷽hters seemed to put the rumors to rest. This was true until late March, when someone at NetherRealm Studios either made a major mistake or was deliberately trying to mess with fans.

This came in the form of leaked promotional material that clearly stated a copyright claim for Army of Darkness, featuring the character of “Ash”. The promotional material was stripped fromꦆ the official website in a matter of hours but existed long enough for fans to screencap and post its message online. The image below reveals all the pertinent copyright information.

Although the material was scrapped from the official site, NetherRealm Studios never issued a formal acknowledgement of the gaffe, and we assume it was a mistake on their part. It still seems like Ash will be coming to Mortal Kombat 11, but at this point we have qui🗹te some time to wait before anything is formally announced.

If in the end Ash is not released, the entire situation will have been a frustrating, ridiculous joke. What would Bruce Campbell have to gain from commenting on Twitter about Mortal Kombat 11, and what would the developers have to gain from creating what wo🔜uld have to now be described as ✃fake promotional material? We hope this is not all some long joke, but at this point, it sure does feel like it is heading in that direction.
