168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat 11 is shaping up to be quite the top-tier fighting game! Riding on a wave of newfound success that began with 2011's Mortal Kombat pseudo-reb﷽oot, the franchise has been executing flawle🦂ss victories ever since.
For the first time, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat is adding new story-based content to the base game in the form of the Aftermath DLC pack. Old faves such as Shang Tsung and Shiva will feature prominently in the story, but gamers will also be getting a surprise visit from none other than Detroit's finest - RoboCop! Excited yet? Here's 5 reasons why we're excited to see Robo dish out justice in the MK universe, and 5 characters we'd like to have seen make an🔴 appearance instead.
10 🧜 We're Excited: For Peter Weller 🐻
Yes, it's true - Peter Weller will be returning to voice his iconic character RoboCop in the Aftermath pack. Not only is this a huge nod to longtime fans of the 1980s RoboCop films - it's also amazing to see Weller revisit a role that most a𒊎ctors might have otherwise moved on 🌸from, for good.
Whatever the case, we're hoping Weller's signature "Drop it!" and "Dead or alive, you're coming with me!" lines will make it into the game. To omit them may cause fan rioting. We're just saying!
9 We'd Have Liked To See: Pinhead🌄
While Robo will always be cool, there are other '80s franchise characters that would probably suit the Mortal Kombat mythos a bit better. Hellraiser's Pinhead would have 🍷made a fine addition to the roster - hooks, chains, and all!
This super-powered Cenobite would need to be able to dish out some punishing melee attacks, but there's nothing to suggest he wasn't capable of such a feat in the films. For instance, Hellraiser III showed Pinhead displaying a good amount of physical stren🌺gth. Besides, can you imagine his fatalities? The suffering of his opponents would be legendary... even in Hell!
8 🎀 We're Excited: To See What RoboCꩲop Can Do
RoboCop wasn't exactly Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost In The Shell. He lacked speed and agility, trading them in for a tank's worth of armor plating and durability. Robo could shrug off damage that would squib normal humans into several thousand cutlets, but you could probably outrun him if need bဣe.
Th✱is RoboCop will have to chug a couple of Red Bulls if he's 🌠going to keep up with the ferocious speed of his opponents. We're hoping it's a mixture of his heavy-footed cadence and some quick dash attacks to close the distance with foes and inflict massive combo damage.
7 We'd ꦬHave Liked To See: Darth Maul
At this point, Mortal Kombat seems unapologetic about the franchises it decides to cross over with, whether it's the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:DC Universe or the Predator films. Star Wars shouldn't be off the table, either.
Everyone's favorite former Sith Lord could touch down in Mortal Kombat and give the entire cast a run for their money. His lightsaber based attacks and acrobatic melee combat make him a natural 🌱brawler, his Force powers are more than a match for the magic-based attacks of his foes, an𓂃d his fatalities... well, you need no assistance when it comes to picturing a few!
6 ꦬ We're Excited: To See RoboCop's Bඣrutality
RoboCop puts the "necessary" in "unnecess꧒ary force." He's not above grabbing the noses of crimina♉ls in his vice-like fingers, shoving their faces into glass arcade screens, or tossing them through plate-glass windows. The well-being of criminals is about as high on his list as taking the surfboard out on Saturday morning.
It took approximately 0.02 seconds for us to pictureܫ several possible RoboCop brutalities, one of which must include the signature data-spike hidden in his right hand. This nasty little USB stick from Hell stuck Clarence Boddicker in the neck so hard that his arterial spray set Olympic gold medal rec🐟ords for traveling distance.
5 💃 We'd Have Liked To See: Judge Dredd
Anyone who watched 2012's Dredd knows that the character would fit Mortal Kombat perfectly. We're not tal🃏king about any Dredd, either. It has to be Karl Urban's Dredd.
Not only is Judge Dredd a far more lethal lawman than RoboCop, but he's also packing that Lawgiver. Inside its relatively straightforward design is a party box of death tools that can serve up the most creative brutalities and fatalities MK has seen in years! So many guilty parties in Mortal Kombat - so little time.
4 𒐪 We're Excite🍰d: For RoboCop's Character Skins
Is it possible we'll see variations in RoboCop's character skins in the Aftermath pack? That's a definite possibility. Expect to see a fully armored🍸 RoboCop as well as de-helmeted RoboCop, complete with a Peter Weller facial capture to♏ go along with his dialogue.
We're not quite as excited to see the 2014 variation on the character, however. After all, Paul Ve🍃rhoeven's RoboCop has arguably stood the test of time for 30+ years, where his reboot variant ha🃏s already been largely forgotten. Let's stick to O.G. Murphy, shall we?
3 We'd Have L♛iked To See: Logan
Weapon X was made to slice up the Mortal Kombat roster, and there's no reason he should be dಌenied the chance. We'd choose Hugh Jackman's old man Logan from the titular 2017 film to lead the charge, given its R-Rate💞d take on the character.
Skin variants could include younger Logan from his gentler X-Men days, but truthfull🌠y, we just want to see what kind of bone-pulverizing damage those adamantium claws can do under an X-Ray,🐼 not to mention the brutally creative fatalities he could dish out when his rage reaches the ultimate max.
2 We're Excited: F𒁃or RoboCop's Movie References 🎐
Unless NetherRealm is completely out to lunch, it's hard to imagine them avoiding the classic references from the early RoboCop films, including Murphy's signature 🍸pistol twirl. However, care must be taken when tackling the nostalgia factor, as fans will undoubted⛦ly dissect each reference to make sure they add up.
Hearing RoboCop mutter "Thank you for your cooperation," before slipping his firearm back into his leg hols🎐ter is nothing without the actual hydraulic sound of the holster, itself. Here, the finer details matter the most. Get it right, and fans will be over the moon! Miss the🏅 mark, and it just won't feel right.
1 We'd Have Liked To See: Deadpool 🃏 🔴
Mortal Kombat literally has an arena called the Dead Pool. This one is a no brainer! If Deadpool the character doesn't make an appearaꦚnce, it's the worst missed opportunity since Doctor Who refusing to touch those two wires together.
would be stunningly perfect in Mortal Kombat. First, he'd inject a brand of humor into the otherwise bleak series, and give Johnny Cage someone to play off of. Second, he's a brutal killer who probably keeps a list of all the creatively funny ways he can murder someone. All that said, he's the only guest character we'd be more interested in seeing subjected to a fatality, rather than dish one out, himself. His mutant healing factor means he꧒'d survive the worst of the worst, and we can only imagine the hilarity of Deadpཧool shooting off sarcastic one-liners after each fatality inflicted on him.
