Mortal Kombat 11 might receive Twisted Metal’s Sweet Tooth as its next DLC character.
Last week we learned that Shang Tsung would join Sindel, Nightwolf, and Todd McFarlane’s Spawn in MK11’s first Kombat Pack, along with two other mystery characters. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Rumors pointed at The Terminator, Ash from the Evil Dead series, of DC Comics’ Joker, but a recent tweet from the official Mortal Kombat Twitter account poinꦰts at another franchise entirely.
"An #IceKreamTruck during #E32019 would be fun, right?" Mortal Kombat’s Twitter account wrote on Monday, implying that a character closely associated with an ice cream truck would be one of the two remaining characters to drop as part of the Kombat Pack.
The only ice cream truck-driving character we know of is Twisted Metal’s Sweet Tooth, whose real name is Needles Kane. A psychotic serial killer that wears a warped clown mask would feel right at home in Mortal Kombat’s world of evil sorcerers, murdero🔯us ninjas, and other highly homicidal characters.
It would also fit in nicely with Mortal Kombat’s past guest characters, which have included other serial killers like Jason Voorhees of Friday the 13th, and Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street.
The Twisted Metal franchise seems set for a bit of a renaissance. Sony’s recently announced PlayStation Productions is rumored to be making a television show 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:based on the Twisted Metal IP, of which Sweet Tooth plays a pivotal role. Kane is connected in some way to nearly every other 💮character in the franchise, although none so closely as the mysterious vehicular combat tournament organizer, Calypso.
Having Sweet Tooth as a guest character in Mortal Kombat will further rekindle interest in the Twisted Metal franchis🐠e, which can only help Sony’s chances with a TV series.
This just leaves one character left for the Kombat Pack, with the three top contenders also having violent pasts. Although, we’d have to give it to Ash from Evil Dead to balance 🥀out the utter e🎃vil of Sweet Tooth, and the ambiguous anti-hero of Todd McFarlane’s Spawn.
