Mortal Kombat “did not hold🅘 back” when it ♉came to fatalities, according to a starring actor.

I know that the coronavirus has sort of thrown a wဣrench in the whole movie industry and studios and publishers alike are wondering if they’ll ever see a return of blockbuster releases or if they’ll allꦐ have to settle for straight-to-streaming services.
Whenever and however we eventually get to see the live-action Mortal Kombat reboot, we'll probably love it all the more for how gruesome it will be 🌞over its pr💜edecessor.
According to rumored Kung Lao actor Lewis Tan (although he could just as easily be Liu Kang, so don’t take our word for it), the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie will definitely have fatalities, an🐲d they’ll be just as gruesome as the video game. M♛aybe even worse.
"Let me just say this, the𒆙re were some days on set that I felt sick. I'm not kidding," Tan said in an interview with . "They did not... They did not hold back."
This mirrors a teasꦫer Tan posted to his Twitter account late last year where we got to see him all bloodied up. Presumably it's fake blood, although he did mention that some of his𝔍 "battle wounds" were "real."
Additionally, writer Greg Russo also told ComicBook that Mortal Kombat is definitely going to "earn it's R-rating."
"I can say for sure that the fatalities that we're gonna put into the film are from the game," Russo mentioned. "We're not going to c﷽ome up with some new things that we haven't seen before, but at the same time, if we're going to do it to use that device, we want to make sure that it's not just in there just to be in there and have that point to the story."
We still don’t have any news on when to expect the film other than sometime in 2021. Whether it appears in theatres will likely depend on whether or not a COVID-19 vaccine exists, and if the ma𓂃jority of people can be convinced to take it.
