🎃 Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Review - Kool Kharacters Kan’t Save A Middling Story𝔍
Noob, Sektor, and Cyrax are great additions 🐎to Mortal Kombat 1, but they can’t save Khaos Reigns꧃ from being a disappointment.
Konquest allowed players to take control of a new 🧔character called Shujinko and experience his Mortal Kombat story while uniquely exploring a somewhat open world. Although it could be a bit janky at times, it was so different from everything else that the series had been offering that it quickly became a fan favourite.
Ed Boons Wants To Know If You Want Konquest In Mortal Kombat Again
Despite its massive popularity with fans, Konquest mode hasn't been seen in Mortal Kombat since🧜 Deception and has only somewhat been replicated with the Krypt in Mortal Kombat 11. It seem𝕴s that series co-creator Ed Boon is interested in bringing it back in a future game, however, as he's asked fans what they'd think of a potential return.
Over on Twitter, that it's been 20 years since Deception originally releaꦇsed. Boon shared the article and said, "How have 20 years passed? Bring it back?", which opened up the floor for fans to share their thoughts.
Although💖 there's one fan who would rather see Shaoli꧟n Monks return, most of the replies to Boon's tweet are in favour of Konq⛄uest making a comeback (or is that komeback?) at some point in the future. Some fans have said that it's still one of their favourite modes in the series, which speaks 🌼to how unique it was when the game originally released.
It's worth pointing out that this isn't the first time that Boon has teased Konquest ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚmode for a new Mortal𝕴 Kombat game.
As ever with Boon's tweets, though, it's worth taking it all with a pinch of salt. Mortal Kombat's head honcho regularly likes to interact with fans and get their thoughts on things, so it's not a guarantee that Konquest is coming back in the future. And heck, with games taking so long to make no🅠w, that future is certainly very far away no matter what the outcome is.
