Mortal Kombat 1's first year of DLC content might have just ended with Takeda Takahashi, but that didn't stop NetherRealm from revealing MK1's second round of DLC, Khaos Reigns, a few weeks ago. As exciting as Ghostface, Cryax, Sektor, and N♈oob are (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:sorry Conan, not you), fans we🌱re a little concerned thatဣ no Kameo fighters were confirmed to be coming as part of the expansion.
Ever since Khaos Reigns was first shown off, fans have been a little worried that we might not be getting any new Kameo fighters as part of Mortal Kombat 1's second year of DLC. While that did seem to be the case at first, Mortal Kombat's co-creator has stepped in to reassure fans and hint at some characters who might be joining the game in the future.
Invincible And Chucky Could Be Coming To Mortal Kombat 1 As Kameos
Over on Twitter, of DLC but also reveals some of the characters that might join the fight. Boon explained that NetherRealm had a meeting with design and "threw around ideas" for Khaos Reigns Kameo fighters, before asking fans who they'd like to see.
The two most interesting names mentioned in the poll are Invincible and Chucky, who would act as the first guest Kameos in Mortal Kombat 1. Chucky is one that has been thrown around a lot since the game was announced seeing as how he's a horror icon who is likely too short for a full roster slot, while Invincible just makes a lot of sens🍌e with Omni-Man on 🐠the roster already.
Although it's nice to see Boon talk about guest Kameo fighters, he actually already confirmed that was a possibility all the way back when MK1 𝔉was first revealed.
Boon also suggested that Mortal Kombat X's Blanche and Kidd Thunder might be Kameo fighters in Mortal Kombat 1, which suggests that Khaos Reigns is going a bit silly with its additions. For those that don't know, Blanche was a random old lady who could be thrown at opponents in Mortal Kombat X, while Kidd Thunder was a part of Raiden's Friendship move in Mortal Kombat 2 and Mortal Kombat 11.
When Are Mortal Kombat 1's New Kameo Fighters Being Released?
Interestingly, it seems that development on the new Kameo fighters hasn't begun for Mortal Kombat 1's second year of DLC, as Boon appears to still be talking about who might join the game. It seems unlikely that any will launch alongside Khaos Reigns and that they'll end up being saved for later on in the year.
