Every fighting game has a character that is not necessarily a fan favorite, but fans love to hate. In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat, we have one of the most 𝓡obnoxious, unpolite, selfish, annoying characters of all fightiꦬng games.
Kano, the Black Dragon clan member that we all love to finish, has been around since the first game of the franchise. And that is a lot since Mortal Kombat is a franchise with a significant amount༺ of games.
At first, Kano was introduced to be just an antagonist to Sonya Blade. Like many other characters from Mortal Kombat, his role grew and he became more important to the story over time. Although everybody knows who Kano is, there are many things ab💜out him that fans do not know.
10 🎐 He Is Your Standard Villain From The 90s
Kano is disgusting, selfish, has a big mouth, and is only on his own side. Leader of the Black Dragon Clan, his only interest in the Mortal Kombat is based on how he can benefit from it. Like many other villains made in that decade, he is not very nuanced. He was pretty much written to be disliked. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dungeons & Dragons fans would say he is just your168澳洲幸运5开奖网: typical Neutral Evil character.
The thing that corro🐭borates how Kano was written to be hated is his vulgarity. Kano will spit on the floor, curse, and even relief himself wherever he wants. He has an unpleasant personality, a wicked sense of humor, and an opportunistic fight style.
9 ജ Kano Is Not Dumb 🐽
Although he is irritating, not very sanitary, and obnoxious to an unbearable degree✱, he is far from being dumb. Kano managed to talk his way to the top of Shao Khan's🅺 army, becoming part of his inner circle. He eventually got promoted to general.
He will carefully choose his alliances, ensuring that whoever wins, or whatever happens, he will come out on top. He is so self-aware and so aware of 💟his alliances, that he is the leader of a criminal organization filled with people like him. That is not a lesser achie🐲vement.
8 Jax Disfigured His Face 🅰 💜
Kano's signature design ch🎀aracteristic is his facial metal plate. It covers almost half of his face, going over one of his eyes. For an eye, on the plate's side, there is a glowing red orb. That eye is generally used for laser attacks throughout the series, but he has used it in different ways from time to time. In M🤪ortal Kombat 11's story mode, Kano uses his red eye as some sort of scanner.
Although Kano has his appearance changed several times throughout the games, having a metal place over his face remained consistent. It is known that Jax is the on🐷e who disfigured him, although there are not many ౠdetails on how this occurred.
7 ♏ Kano Had Many Designs
At first, he was just a guy in a Karate Gi with a metal plate on his face. his design went through a significant change in Mortal Kombat 3 when Kano made the change to a bl🐓ack and red, sleeveless tunic. Deadly Alliance introduced yet another design. It had a different, larger version of his facial metal plate. He also had armbands, gloves, and a black vest.
Thanks to the Time Distortion theme from Mortal Kombat 11, players go to see classic Mortal Kombat 3 Kano again. This time in next-generation graphics, with a slight update on his old design. Even with his Eye Shield, elbow blades, cybernetic heart, and cannonball attacks, Kano is not even 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the weirdest Mort♛al ﷽Kombat characters.
6 He Is A Very 𝄹Go💃od Kombatant
He is clearly not the most disciplined martia🐽l artist but he can fight very well. Kano is a competent hand-to-hand fighter that complements his skills with technol💮ogical advancements and dirty moves. He will bring a gun to a sword fight, and a knife to a hand-to-hand fight.
He is completely dependent on his weapons and technical enhancements, though. Kano does not have any special powers, or the discipline to achieve martial superiority. Still, he managed to stay alive thrꦆoughout the whole franchise and has🗹 had his fighting skills tested by several competent Mortal Kombat characters.
5 ꦰ He Was Not Australian Until The First Movie ♚
Kano was first envisioned as an American bad guy of Japanese descent. It was only when the movie came out that th🍬e creators of the game decided to rewrite him. The reason behind this is much simpler than most people would think. Kano was changed to Australian because the Kano from the movie was depicted as having an Australian accent, and fans seemed to have liked it.
Ever since an Australian accent became a core characteristic that people associate with Kano. There is no Kano without a despicable personality, a faceplate, and an Australian accent. Most likely, his bad🍬 manners are also something that was integrated into the character after the movie.
4 🥃 He Gets Upgraded Over Time
Not being able to compete fairly against other characꦕte♔rs from the Mortal Kombat franchise caused Kano to go after alternatives to remain relevant. In order to be able to handle fights against much more talented fighters, Kano enhanced himself with cybernetic implants.
He is already known for his red-eye and the lasers that he can shoot from it, but his cybernetic enhancꦑements went way past his red eye. He was upgraded with a cybernetic heart. This equipment 🐼serves as a power source for all his cybernetic enhancements. It also boosts his overall power.
3 He Used To Provide Weapons To Outworld🍸
Outworld is a realm filled with magicജ, monsters, fantastic races, powerful warriors, and supern♍atural things. It has a lot of advantages of Earth Realm, but the technology was not one of them. Earthrealm was the only realm that had access to firearms. That is until Kano showed up.
Kano's clan, the Blac🥃k Dragon, was the organization that🏅 provided Shao Khan with an arsenal of weapons from the Earthrealm. He even has a known quote for when he is selling RPG Launchers to Shang Tsung, when he tells him that "with a whole army totin' these, no one in Outworld or Earthrealm could stand up to you."
2 Sonya And Kano Are Obsessed With One Another 🍬
In almost every single depiction of Sonya Blade, she is hunting Kano and trying to bring him to justice. The reasons might differ slightly. For instance, in some versions, he might be a traitor, in the movies he is the bad guy who killed her partner. Either way, it i🐓s clear that Kano somehow enjoys the fact that Sonya is hunting him, but he is also eager to make her stop for go🧸od.
In Mortal Kombat: Deception and Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Kano has a peculiar necklace. This piece is made of Sonya Blade's hair. Kano ripped a lock of her from her once during one of their many encounters. During those two games, he wears it as a ꩵt🥀rophy, or maybe as a tease.
1 ꦛ His Young Self Die꧒s, Making Him Disappear
Ka🅠no is the only character in Mortal Kombat 11 who gets his existence erased. This happens due to the death of his younger self. Sonya bravely fights both young Kano and present Kano at the same time. For the most part, she is handling both of them just fine, until older Kano threatens to kill Johnny Cage.
While Kano holds young Johnny Cage, he says "he dies, so does yo🌳ur little girl." Reminded by the rules of time travel, Sonya thanks old𝔍er Kano and shoots his younger version on the left eye.
