168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition sets out to capture the hearts of Soulslike fans that may have missed its initial release in August of last year. The Enhanced Edition comes with many ne👍eded upgrades. Still, it keeps the gruelingly formidable yet enjoyable expe⛄rience that fans of the genre love, which got it nominated for "Best Game Debut" at last year's The Game Awards.

With Mortal Shell being a beloved indie title for the Souls fanatics and the , it was onl🐼y a matter of time until it made its way onto next-gen platforms. Albeit, this feels sooner than anticipated. But it is very much welcomed. What Cold Symmetry improved upon was mainly on the technical side of things. However, a few new things should ultimately have fans eager to jump back into it or newcomers to take the plunge finally.

5 🐷 DualSense Su🏅pport For PlayStation 5

Dual Sense Contoller

Mortal Shell: Enhance🅷d Edition takes advantage of the PlayStat🔯ion 5's DualSense technology, offering a unique experience for the game compared to other platforms.

The DualSense offers things like sounds of whispers paired with a thumping heartbeat that genuinely immerse you in the world further. Even things like using the Hardening mechanic in the game give a satisfying *thunk* while you hunker down and wait to take a strike🦩 from an oncoming enemy. You can even feel when you regain some of your abilities when the gauge fills back up with a recognizable sound and satisfying feeling that pulses throughout t🐲he controller.

Additionally, when your stamina gets depleted, you can feel the trigger lock u🐻p, signaling you cannot attack anymore as you are exhausted. Even when dealing heavy attacks, you can often f🍸eel the pull of the weapon as you wind up for the attack. The way it's implemented is neat, but we wish there were more terrain effects on the controller in a similar fashion to Astro's Playroom. There are many marshy lands, tall grass, metal, and stone around the world, and it would have been cool to "feel" them.

Regardless, the way the DualSense got implemented here is acceptable and is worth checking out if you have the means. It by no means makes it the definitive way to play Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition, but if you have the choice to 😼experience it with the DualSense, you absolutely should.

4 Native 4K

Promotional Art for Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition

With fully upgraded textures and native 4K support, Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition genuinely looks incredibl🥂e. Subtle details in armors, environments, an🅺d enemies shine from the enhancements.

Even things such as the lighting and draw distance appear to benefit from 🥂this enhancement. Everything seems to stand out in a way that wasn't present when it initially launched on consoles. One of the more impressive elements of this edition is how meticulously detailed everything appears.

With that said, the game still does not offer HDR support or ray tracing of any sor꧋t, which was to be expected. However, it is always worth pointing out for anyone who anticipated either of these being implemented. The game still benefits significantly from the nat꧂ive resolution and upgraded textures.

3 60 FPS On Xbox Seri🌜es X An൩d PlayStation 5

Mortal Shell combat

Receiving a much-needed 60 fps upgrade on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles, Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition feels incredi💙bly smooth and responsive.

We experience no frame dips on the PlaySཧtation 5 version of the 🥀game. Even in high conflict areas or boss fights with a lot going on. The game appeared to stay at the promised "uncompromised 60 fps" Cold Symmetry mentioned in their reveal!

However, 🐲unfortunately for Xbox Series S users, Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition will remain at a locked 30 fps. However, it will take advantage of the native 4K upgrade. But it would have been nice to see an optional 1440p 60fps mode on the Series S as the game genuinely feels much better overall at that framerate.

2 💞 Loꦦad Times

Playing a stringed instrument in Mortal Shell

The loading times are significantly better when compared to Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition's last-gen counte𝐆rpart.

With last-gen seeing up to 40 seconds on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, it was refreshing to see loading times take a couple of seconds or, at worst, 4-5 seconds. Dying is no longer infuriating due to the load times, just ꦚto your mistakes and misfortune!

It's worth noting that the next-gen version will not eliminate the "crawling" sections to help load in assets, as that's just the game's core design and a tie-over from the last-gen version. Which, again, was ♉to be expected. Overall, the loading times aren't bad, and even the crawling sections are less tedious as a result.
