Fans have wanted a Bug-Dragon Pokemon for quite a while now and giving Yanmega that typing fဣor its Mega Evolution would be an incredibly fitting way to use the typing.
It would also help it out competitively, as Bug-Dragon seems much more formidable than Bug-Flying at least on paper. It rocks the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Speed Boost ability which is very♉ good, but, should Game Freak want to go a different route from a competitive standpoint, Multiscale would be an interesting ability to go along with the added Dragon-type.
9 Bronzong - A Potential Buff 𝓀 𒉰
Bronzong had a stint in top-tier competitive play, but it's most recently been an afterthought. That mainly due to its typing as Steel-Psychic type P♑okemon were heavily nerfed in Generation VI when Steel lost its resistance to the Dark-type. A makeover is due and thaꦬt could come in the form of a Mega Evolution.
Having Levitate is nice, but an ability that could increase Bronzong's ꦯpotential as a wallbreaker would be really nice to have to go along with an all-around stat buff. Plus, a Mega Evolution could help give this otherwise unassuming Pokemon a bit more love in terms of popularity.
8 💦 Honchkrow - The Dark (Wing) Horse 🌸
Thi♐s evolution to Murkrow has garnered somewhat of a cult following thanks to its lowkey but intimidating design. That being🌸 said, it would be nice for it to get some more mainstream attention with a Mega Evolution.
Competitively speaking, it's seen modest use thanks to its pretty good typing of Dark-Flying and an interesting stat spread that's mediocre in the Speed department but massive in the Attack department. Giving it ဣeven more in both stats could make it one𒆙 of the deadliest wallbreakers in the game. As for its ability, it could get a new one or stick to one of its best: Moxie.
7 Froslass - Fi🏅xes A Gap In M✅ega Evolutions
Glalie received a Mega Evolution in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, so it would oඣnly be fitting that Froslass, its counterpart evolution, gets one in Br♋illiant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
There's been precedent for both sides of a branched evolution getting Mega Evolutions before: Gardevoir and Gallade. Not only would giving Froslass one fix that glaring absence in the Mega pool, but it could give Froslass that last little push into becoming a true competitive threat. It has two interesting abilities, but Mega Glalie's Refrigerate is betteꦜr than both of thꦫem, and there's potential to go either that route or give it an ability that leans more into its Ghost-type.

Drapion's seen some usage in competitive battling thanks to its excellent Poison-Dark typing, but it's never fully reached top tiers. It's also kind of a sleeper in terms of popularity, not really garnering any attention since 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Paul used his in the anime. Perhaps a Mega Evolutio🐬n c🎀ould be the last piece of the puzzle.
It'll gain some much-needed popularity just by being a Mega, and the increase in stats could make it incredibly useful in battle, even more so than it already is. It♔ could also use a new ability, since its best ability, Sniper, is a bit too RNG-reliant. Can you imagine having🉐 to face the Elite Four's Aaron who now has this gigantic monster scorpion as his ace?
5 𝓰 Rampardos & Bastiodon - More Fossil Pokemon Evolutions 🔜
So far, Aerodactyl has been the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:only fossil Pokemon to receive any kind of alternate form, Mega Evolution or Gigantamax. They deserve more𝓡 love in that category, and it wouldn't be so bad to start off with giving the Sinnoh fossils Mega Evolutions.
Neither are particularly good competitively, but both are pretty cool conceptually. A potential Mega Evolution for each could not only make them better for battling, but also expand on what they were prior to fossilization. For both aspects, either Mega form could play into Rampardos's gigantic head and Bastiodon's shield-like body, respectively, and it would be even better to give them new abilities based on th♓ose concepts.
4 ෴ Lickilicky - A Good Troll Opportunity 🐼
It's possible that not a single person has talked about Lickilicky since its release, but that could change. Its pre-evolution, Lickitung, has been around 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:since Generation I, so it wouldn't be so bad to 🐎give it its 🦩flowers by creating a Mega Evolution for it.
As for what it could be based on, Game Freak could troll the Pokemon community by just giving it a really long tongue if they wanted. What matters is that competitively, it should get a subs൲tantial boost in its defenses and an ability that can actually make it stand out among the saturated market of healing specialists.
3 Carnivine -🌊 A Blank Slate
Carnivine could be called boring depending on who you ask -- it's literally just a Venus flytrap with eyes -- but that's kind of the reason why it makes this list. Similarly to Lick꧙ilicky, it's kind of a blank slate conceptually, so there's a ton of room to make it more interesting.
The main thing that's probably in order💯 for it is a secondary type. Dark-type could work for its generally evil-looking design, or you could even give it the Steel-type via making its teeth turn into metal or something like that. Regardless of how the design comes out, it desperately needs a buff to its underwhelming 454 base stat total.
2 Toxicroak - More Competitive Capabi꧃lities
What could be considered a pretty cool-looking Pokemon has surprisingly not gotten a lot of attention aside from maybe that of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Galactic Commander Saturn. A Mega Evolution will rig✅htfully make Toxicroak more popular, and there are certainly a lot of paths to make it look great.
Its competitive viability has been OK at best, but it do🍸es have a lot of things going for it that could make it formidable when added onto. That last little push to get it to the big leagues is definitely♌ a superior ability, as the choices it has are far too situational, and it could use one that unlocks its potential as a sweeper.
1 ⛎ Ambipom ಞ- Lopunny 2.0
Ambipom is the epitome of the kind of Pokemon that works best for this list: underappreciated in terms of popularity, competitively unviable, and in n♉eed of a buff. That said, there's tons of potential for Ambipom to get the same treatment as Lopunny.
It's a conceptually interesting Pokemon that could be added onto by its new form. Maybe it could become a Normal-Psychic type that leans more into its whole ambidexterity schtick? Maybe Game Freak could even give it extra arms, although that could be overkill if not done properly. Also, a better Attack stat could make Technician-boosted STAB 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fake Out and Double Hit very formidable.
