It's time to get glammed up and head to the biggest wedding 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic the Gathering's Innistrad has ever seen. 🧸It's Olivia Voldaren and Edgar Markov's big day, and every vampire who has any standing at all needs to be seen there.

One new vampire to join the ranks, though, is one we've seen in human form ever since Innistrad debuted. Odric was once a Cathar, protector of humanity as the commander of the Gavony Riders, before becoming a Lunarch Martial and playing a big role in fighting the corrupted archangel Avacyn. Though still a loyal believer in Avacyn, even after her destruction, he worked to reveal the corrupt core of her church and became a re☂bel.

In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Innistrad: Crimson Vow, Odric encountered the minor vampire aristocrat Henrika Domnathi. In a bid to save his ally Thalia, Odric sacrificed himself on Domnathi's blade. Nearly dead, Domnathi had one more cruel p๊unishment planned for him: she stabbed her tongue, and pumped his body full of corrupt, vampiric blood, turning him into the Commander we're building this week: .

Odric, Blood-Cursed

Odric, Blood-Cursed is a 3/3 Vampire Soldier that costs one generic, one red, and one white. Like his earlier card, Odric, Lunarch Marshal, Blood-Cursed cares about the keywords you have on other creatures. When he enters the battlefield, you make X Blood artifact tokens, where X is🌞 how many from a checklist of keywords are on at least one creature you control. The keywords are flying, first strike, double strike, deathtouch, haste, hexproo🃏f, indestructible, lifelink, menace, reach, trample, and vigilance.

In true Boros fashion, we're going to play Odric, Blood-Cursed as an artifact deck. The goal is to get as many keywords out on the board as possible, play Odric to make a bunch of Blood artifact tokens, and then find fun ways to🍌 use them.

Ramp

Ramp-1

For ramp, we're using white's tried and tested suite of Archaeomancer's Map, Gift of Estates, and Keeper of the Accord. Boros can struggle in terms of getting extra lands out, a🦩nd so we're going to use everything we can.

Artifacts fit nicely into this strategy as well, and so we'll be using a higher-than-normal number artifacts that either pay for things, get us lands, or reduce cost. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet and Boros Signet are handy mana rocks, while Ruby Medallion and Pearl Medallion reduce the cost of the red and white spells we cast, respectively. Moonsilver Key is🎃 proving once again to be a new staple for the form🍸at here too, netting us a bit more much-needed land ramp.

It wouldn't be a red deck without Dockside Extortionist, but he works especially well here. If we need the treasures he makes for mana, it's availabl𓆉e, but there are also a few other fun things that can♌ be done with them to help this deck win.

Draw

Draw-1

Surprisingly for a white deck, we've already got a lot of card draw built-in thanks to Odric's Blood tokens. With Blood, you can pay one generic mana, tap it, sacrifice it, and discard a card to draw another card. We'll want to work around that discard limitation, though, and so a Bag of Holding is a decent inclusion here.

For more draw, we're of course going to run Esper Sentinel, possibly the best white card draw ever made… that is, until Welcoming Vampire was introduced in Crimson Vow. Once per turn, we can draw a card whenever a creature with power two or less enters the battlefield under your control – for token decks this is ridiculous, but even꧋ here with a slightly higher power average, it can be a big boost.

Quicksmith Genius is another great inclusion. Whenever an artifact enters the battlefield, you can discard a card to draw a card – Odric is going to make a lot ဣof artifacts, and so you could rummage through your entire deck for the key pieces you n🦹eed to win.

Though not part of the plan in a big way, Combustible Gearhulk is always a fun card to run in Commander. It essent🧸ially puts a gun against your opponent's head and makes them decide between taking damage equal to the mana cost of three cards you mill, or letting you just draw those three instead.

Keywords

Keywords

For Odric, Blood-Cursed to do his thing, we need lots of keywords. Note that Odric's ability counts how many keywords are represented from his list, not how many creatures have each ke🍒yword. One creature with lifelink will give as many Blood tokens as 50 of them, meaning we need to spread things out a bit.

Assuming you can keep it alive with a lucky hexproof counter or something like a Darksteel Plate, Crystalline Giant is a really interesting card. Each turn, you randomly pick one from any of the same keywords listed on Odric and put a counter of that keyword onto Crystalline Giant. That means in just a few turns you can have a flying, hexproof lifelinker for just three mana. Equip it with Helm of the Host to make copies th🦂at do the same thing, and you could easily fill all of Odric's keyword requirements quickly.

Wurmcoil Engine⭕ is another fantastic creature to add. It has deathtouch and lifelink, and whe🀅n it dies it makes two tokens, one with deathtouch, and one with lifelink.

Otherwise, we need to rely on creatures that give us good value for the keywords they have. Swiftblade Vindicator costs just two mana and has double strike, vigilance, and trample; Akiri, Line-Slinger has first strike and vigilance, and Akroma, Vision of Ixidor has flying, first strike, vigilance, and trampl✃e.

The problem comes in when you try and get keywords that aren't as common in red or white, like deathtouch. For these, equipping a creature with an artifact that gives it those keywords is enough for Odric: Haunted Cloak gives it vigilance, trample, and haste, and Basilisk Collar deathtouch and lifelink. Akroma's Memorial is by far the best card for this, though, as it gives everything flying, first strike, vigilance, trample, haste, and pr꧅otectiᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚon from black and red. That last one isn't part of Odric's list, but it's still handy to have.

As an expensive, last-ditch effort, True Conviction is something to consider. A six mana enchantment that gives all creatures you control double strike and lifelink will really help keep your life up, but they're also two keywords we've already got aไ lot𓃲 of representation in already.

Use Those Artifacts To Win

Win

Once you've filled up the board with keywords, playing Odric, Blood-Cursed will dump a lot of artifacts onto the battlefield. Make sure you're running the enchantment Anointed Procession to double the number of tokens he makes each time he enters, and make good use of things like Teleportation Circle and Ephemerate to let Odric leave and re-enter the battlefield.

You could get even more if you use the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:infinite flicker combo of Restoration Angel, Lumbering Battlement, and Ephemerate to keep Odric going indefinitely to make infinite blood tokens.

Odric, Blood-Cursed isn't the only thing here that's making Blood tokens. Vampire's Vengeance, Lacerating Flesh, and Olivia's Attendants all turn dam♈a🗹ge into Blood, giving you the chance to build up a little trove of it before dropping Odric into play.

Blood isn't enough to win on its own, though, so let's find different ways to use them to nab the vicꦐtory.

The easiest way to win is probably through the use of Hellkite Tyrant, who simply wins the game if you control 20 or more artifacts on your upkeep. Being able to steal all of your opponents' artifacts with it is a great bonus, but with Odric's Blood, and Surly Badgersaur and Dockside Extortonist's Treasures, it wouldn't be too difficult to get to that number 🎀on your own.

A funnier way is by throwing an Atog or Krak-Clan Grunt at an enemy for massive damage. Sacrifice all the Blood tokens to make their power super high, and then use an Isochron Scepter imprinted with Fling to deal direct damage to their face equal to its power. Use something like Emeria Spheherd to reel your Atog back in fro༒m the graveyard to try it again.

If all else fails, this is a Boros deck, and so you can quite comfortably win through smashing someone's face. Arterial Alchemy is a card from the Crimson Vow Vampire preconstructed Commander deck that turns all tokens you control into equipment on top of their other types. Pay two generic mana to equip, and each Blood token will give a creature +2/+0. Use Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist to cheat theﷺ cost and load up one creature (preferably one of your keyword-heavy ones) with all of the tokens, and proceed to knock an opponent's life total into the negatives.

To make combat an easier win condition, we're going to use one of Odric's older, human cards: Odric, Master Tactician. As long as you attack with at least three creatures, you decide who blocks what – just say nothin🍌g blocks anything and you've got unfettered access to your opponent's face.

Lowering the Power Level

Power-Down-1

This is already a pretty fair deck. It uses the new Blood mechanic that doesn't have years of support behind it, and it's only got one infinite combo that doesn't inherently win the game on its own. There are no 'stax' effects to stop your opponent from playing things (though there are a few counters like Deflecting Swat), either.

But being able to scale your deck back to ensure everyone has a good play experience is important, and so there are a few things you could take out to slow Odric 🅘down. Number one is to remove just one bit of the Ephemerate/Lumbering Battlement/Restoration Angel infinite combo – Lumbering Battlement is probably the one with the fewest uses outside of the combo, so that should be first to go.

The deck also runs some of the most efficient removals in red and white. Path to Exile, Chaos Warp, Blasphemous Act, Generous Gift, and Vanquish the Hordes are all excellent but could be replaced with slower, weaker alternatives like Angelic Ascension, Slash the Ranks, Citywide Bust, or Chain Reaction. These still do the job and have the added benefit of being cheaper than the usual go-to choices for removal, but either cost more, aren't instants, or give yourღ opponent a slight benefit in compensation.
