Ahead of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Magic: The Gathering Edge of Eternities' official August 1 launch, Wizards of the Coast have revealed nearly the entire set ahead of time, including expensive reprints with new ♐artwork.

It's no secr♐et that Magic: The Gathering is an expenꦬsive hobby. With Edge of Eternities in the on-deck circle after the massive success of Universes Beyond, it has big shoes to fill if it wants to resonate with fans. So, like other past sets, Eꦐdge o♈f Eternities added ten new cards to the Special Guest list. These existing cards are often found for a premium, considering their utility in 🌠card legal formats, and card re🅺prints can lower the average price on 'chase' cards from the annals of MTG history.

Although Shock Land reprints have already been introduced in the main set of Edge of Eternities (making them legal in the popular Standard ♊format), the latest MTG set still has a few tricks up its sleeve when it comes to bringing value. This value derives from the ongoing Special Guest inclusions in each set. For Edge of Eternities, Wizards of the Coast turned up the heat with specialized reprints, bringing older and expensive cards in꧃to the set with fresh artwork (and a hopefully more attainable price).

MTG Edge Of Eternities Brings Back Expensive Cards Reprinted As Special Guests

Since Special Guests first started in The Lost Caverns of Ixalan set from 2023, WOTC has continued to reprint some of their hardest-hitting c🌠ards with new set-specific artwork, which has effectively brought formerly-forgotten cards back into the spotlight. A new Chrome Mox variant was introduced in Aetherdrift, a reprint that sits close to a $100 price tag according to guide.

The Double Masters variant of Chrome Mox has fallen in price by over 10 ♌percent since September 2024, when the card last sold for $106. The Double Masters version can now 🔯be purchased on the high end for approximately $94 since the reprint became available. In Edge of Eternities, the Sliver Overlord, Green Sun's Zenith, Burgeoning, and Darkness are reprinted in set-exclusive artwork with the Special Guest moniker, and all have price ranges above the $20 mark. If reprint trends continue, fans may be able to snag these high-powered reprints for a steal when the new artwork lands, especially when Sliver Overlord currently sits at a price over $50.

On the flip side, fans who purchase Edge of Eternities will have a chance to pull one of the new artworks from Play Boosters and Collector Booster packs. , "In 1.8 percent of Play Boosters, 1 of 10 non-foil Special Guests cards will replace a common. Of note, Special Guests cards aren't found in the wildcard nor traditional foil slot in Play Booster." It adds that 6 percent 🍌of Collector Booster packs will contain a foil variant of the Special Guest sheet.

Whether fans plan to jump in on Edge of Eternities or not, it's worth checking out pricing on Special Guests after the set drops and is out for at least a month, to get formerly expensive ca♕rds for notable discounts.
