While seemingly innocuous enough, it's a reference to a shot from the film that has been heavily ridiculed online. It's not clear if whoever added it was aware of this, but it's resulted in Twitter being flooded with posts mocking the movie for its (pretty numerous) shortcomings.
The icon was shared on Twitter yesterday by renowned MultiVersus leaker, Susie. Here, it💜 was revealed that the icon will set you back 35,000 Gold, with the devs clearly aware that there will be a fair ဣamount of interest in the dumb, purposely badly framed icon.
Unbelievably, this isn't even the most expensive player icon yet. One of Fred from Scooby Doo was priced at 50,000 Gold, making the Black Adam piss-take significantly cheaper. If there are enough players with this much Gold burning a hole in their pocket, then it's possible we'll see the icon everywher𝔍e in online matches. Despite the big price tag, it's wild to see a game that is meant to be promoting the Black Adam film seemingly make fun of its failures. That being said, it's safe to say Black Adam can afford to take the hit, 🧸as it's proven to be a win at the box office so far. It's generated , and has pretty high review scores with general audiences. Critics not so much, as the film sits at a 41 on Metacritic.
