168澳洲幸运5开奖网:MultiVersus is finally back after its 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:year-long hiatus, but the community isn't too happy with the state of its relaunch. One look at the subreddit and you'll see a mountain of complaints about battle pass XP, lack of leaderboards, and odd camera zooms.

One fan even into a list, split into different categories like gameplay, economy, and modes. One of the highlights is that characters you don't own are now locked in local play, despite being available in the beta.

Banana Guard and Jason had my eyebrowsꦛ raised at first, but I'm just glad MultiVersus has so💜me tricks up its sleeves still.

A glaring issue with this change is that offline and local tournaments will be much harder to host as a huge chunk of the roster simply won't be available. Fans have called this out, garnering thousands of upvotes, in the hopes that developer Player First Games will roll back the change in a future update.

MultiVersus director Tony Huynh quickly replied to these protests, saying that the team is going to address this in "a later patch". How, we don't know yet.

Battle Pass XP, Expensive Characters, And Slow Gameplay

One of the other major changes in the relaunch is that finishing matches doesn't give you battle pass XP anymore. Now, you need to complete challenges, gutting a huge incentive to continue playing. This is something else that the community is pushing to see changed, with many using Fortnite as a more positive example as nearly everything across each mode gives y♏ou XP, making all aspects of the game feel rewarding.

Characters are much more expensive now. They now cost 3,000 fighter currency if they're from the beta, or 6,000 if they're new, which is one helluva grind. You can get this currency via the battle pass, account and character mastery, or in the new Rift Mode. Alternatively, you can buy characters with Gleamium, but Joker is 1,250, translating to around $15.

The last big complaint is the gameplay speed. Clips have surfaced online of MultiVersus in action, and they're being mocked en masse for how sluggish the movement looks. "Why is the game so slow?" one Reddit user asked. "Doesn't even feel reworked, feels like the original game on half speed".

"I've just played my first match and came here immediately to see if anyone else had noticed," another replied. "The game feels terribly clunky now. They've butchered it."
