Bakugo's melee attacks are very slow and can be interrupted by faster characters. You should mainly rely on Bakugo's Quirk Skills, like AP shot, for direct combat.
AP Shot can also pierce other characters and walls created by Quirk Skills, like Todoroki's Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall or Cementoss's cement. If an enemy manages to escape, one use of AP Shot is enough to destroy smaller buildings.
