What can you do on this day besides the usual tasks? Have a party!

With the use of the Banquet Table, you can throw yourself a grand party full of food and music, and invite all your fellow Sandrock residents over. In this guide, we'll show you how to get one, how to plan a party of any kind, and the fun you can have on your birthday in-game.

How To Unlock A Banquet Table

The main event that can occur on your birthday is a Birthday Party.

The ability to throw a Birthday Party, or other party, can be unlocked by placing and interacting with a Banquet Table. A Banquet Table can be purchased from the Game Center Shop inside the Game Center for 100 coins.

Due to a Banquet Table's size, you'll need to have a house that's around 10x10 in size or a yard that's been expanded at least once to have enough room to place it down.

The most consistent and quickest way to earn 100 coins is through the Whack-a-Mole game outside the Game Center on Hard difficulty.

It offers more coins for less risk, and each level you pass increases coins given. For example, obtaining an A or S-ranking can net you around 8 coins per level, with a bonus available at level three.

How To Plan A Party

Once you've got a Banquet Table and enough space to place it, you're ready to plan your party.

Parties can be thrown up to seven days after you begin to plan for a party. For example, if you're starting to plan a party on August 10th, the available dates for your party would be anywhere between August 11th and 17th.

Parties can also be planned for other character's birthdays.

After you've picked a date for the party, you'll be able to set a time for it, and you can throw your party anytime between 9am and 9pm. Alongside picking a date and time, you've also got your choice of party theme and what food you'll be having between several package options, each costing Gols.

You also have a choice of two party extras for 200 Gols each: party music and fireworks.

The theme you pick will determine what kind of party you're having, and you have your choice of three themes available:

How To Invite Characters To Your Birthday Party

Once your party is planned and confirmed, you'll now be able to invite people to your party.

Up to ten people can be invited to a party, and the Party Invitations automatically appear in your inventory once the party is confirmed.

Party Invitations need to be gifted to a character like you would a regular gift, and any character can be invited to your birthday party except for animals like Macchiato and Nemo.

Gifting a Party Invitation also rewards you with four to eight relationship points with your chosen characters.

How To Throw A Birthday Party

On the day of your party, characters begin to arrive two hours prior to the birthday party's starting time, and any characters you've reached Buddy friendship level or greater with will bring you a present.

Some characters you've invited may not be able to attend, and will send a letter of apology if they can't.

You'll also get the chance to add any food dishes you've cooked or purchased to the table by interacting with it, and up to ten additional dishes can be added.

When the party begins, characters will sit down at the Banquet Table and eat food from the party package, as well as any you've personally put down.

Characters don't always eat all the food in one sitting, and will return to eat every five to ten in-game minutes throughout the party depending on how much food you've put down.

Characters always pick out their neutral, liked, or favorite food items to eat, and how much a character likes a food dish will determine the total amount of relationship points gained at the end of the party.

The Blue-Moon's To-Go shop offers several food items for cheap if you need additional food for a party.

Your Birthday Party lasts for four hours, after which characters will get up and leave your yard. All characters who attended the party can gain between 12 and 25 Relationship Points at the end of the party, depending on what foods they've eaten.

Any uneaten food you've placed will also be returned through the mail the next day!
