Where To Find The Camera

It seems that cameras are a thing of the past in My Time at Sandrock, since you need to collect pieces of it from the Abandoned Ruins.

In order to do this, you'll need to have finished building the Crane Lift at Eufala Salvage, and also have an access pass to the salvage yard in order to get down into the Abandoned Ruins.

Once inside, check out the list of what's available on each floor before deciding where to go. It may take a few trips, but you'll find all three pieces of the camera relic on any floor where the camera icon is shown when selecting a level.

There are three total pieces of the camera to be found, and each piece is numbered. You'll only find one of each piece.

If you upgrade your Analysis Chip in your scanner from the level select menu in the Abandoned Ruins, you'll be able to tell what an item is from afar when scanning in the mines.

This is helpful to hꦺave when looking for any specif💃ic relics or parts - the camera, and others!

Reassemble The Camera At The Museum

Once you have all three pieces of the camera, head over to the Museum, which is by the sparring arena and Game Center if you haven't been yet.

Inside, the machine in the back of the room on the right is called the Relic Restoration Machine. Interact with the machine. You can restore the camera in exchange for all three camera relic pieces and ten Data Discs, which you'll most likely have on hand from digging for camera relics.

After the camera has been built, interact with it in your inventory to formally unlock the camera in My Time at Sandrock - it doesn't work until you use it from your inventory first.

How To Take Pictures

After you've unlocked the camera in My Time at Sandrock, you can find it on your quick wheel, which is where you've been performing your quick saves. You can also click the camera in your inventory to bring up the function.

Once the camera has been pulled up, you'll have a number of different options. You can choose a pose and expression for your builder, or choose to omit them from the picture entir🐟ely on the second tab if you need to take a shot of🥀 something else.

On the left side of the screen when using the camera, you'll see plenty of different camera controls. This includes things like panning up and down, showing a grid to he🦩lp you line 🦂up the perfect picture, an option to hide the UI, and so much more.

When you use the camera to take the photo, the image will be saved in your album, which is indicated by the polaroid photo icon on your menu.

These tend to be of lower quality, though, so if you're trying to take a photo for yourself, hiding the UI and taking a screenshot is the way to go.

How To Take Photos With NPCs

Group photos in My Time at Sandrock also unlock once you've reassembled the camera, and they're a great way to earn more relationship points with the townsfolk you include.

The two of you will pose together in 💜a number of ways (try changing poses and eꦕxpressions for more varied shots), and you can snap a shot of you and your pal for the album.
