My Time At 🍸Sandrock: Complete Friendship Guide
Because small-town living justꦓ isn't the same without the frien🅰ds you make along the way.
There are a few differences between the singleplayer and multiplayer modes that change the experience, but it's still the same Sandrock you know and love. With a bit of effort, you are your friends can make the town a shining oasis in the desert.
Can You Complete The Main Missions In Multiplayer?
In My Time At Sandrock Multiplayer, there are no main missions or NPC side missions to complete. Instead, your focus is on building your workshop and the town.
As you explore Sandrock in this mode, you'll notice several buildings and structures are missing (along with corresponding NPCs).
Rather than work through the main story to rebuild Sandrock to its former glory, your job is to build Sandrock in the first place. You and your friends can team up to complete Co-Op missions and commissions to make the town shine.
Instead of earning experience from the main missions, you'll earn experience by doing almost everything else. Gathering materials around the workshop will grant not only EXP, but it will boost your workshop's reputation as well.
How Does The Workshop Work In Multiplayer?
The workshop will be in the same place as it is in singleplayer mode, but you'll share it with up to three other players. These players can be 🌌friends you know or new friends you meet online via mܫatching.
You can set your town to private so that only invited friends can ꧒join if you want to avoid strangers.
In addition to sharing the workshop, you'll also share Gols and materials. There will be one account that all Gols are deposited into, and you can pool your resources to complete commissions and missions faster.
You'll have to work together to expand your workshop and grow the community together. You can check the board by your workshop to see an overview of your progress, what level you and your fellow builders are, and what you've completed.
Can I Have More Than One Character In Multiplayer?
In multiplayer, you can♒ only have one active character at a time. You can choose to do onജe of the following:
- Join a Town. To join, you must be invited to a friend's town. This allows you to match with them directly and start playing together.
- Create a Town. You can alternatively create your own town. This is best if you want to host your friends or if you want to play in multiplayer's sandbox solo.
- Match a Town. If you want to meet new friends and truly learn what it means to work together, you can match with a random town that's set to public.
While you can only have one active character at a time, you can always leave your current town to start or join another one. Doing so will save some of your character's progress and data, but you can change your appearance before joining the next town.
Changing servers will completely erase your character's data, including leveling progress. Be careful when changing this setting, as it's irreversible.
There is a cooldown between joining and creating new towns, so you won't be able to jump back and forth without waiting a few minutes.
