Like the first game, My Time at Sandrock isn't just a crafting game. It is also an open world, life, and farming sim, with a dash of RPG tossed in for good measure. This game does a lot, and it does it well. If you are moving from Portia to Sandrock, there are a few things you might find familiar in this new land.

10 Looking Sharp In Sandrock ✤

My Time in Portia is a pretty 🍬game. Boasting vibrant colors and characters drawn in a particular style gives the game a cutesy charm. Combine this with the stress-free and engaging gameplay, and you have a winner.

My Time at Sandrock follows suit, but with vastly improved visuals. The characters are drawn in the same style, but with more refined features a𝓡nd detail. The land surrounding Sandrock paints a very different picture than what you might be used to from Portia, beautiful in a way that only a desert can be.

Combat is not the focus of the My Time games, although it does play a large part. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:You can once again spar with your friends and neighbors to incre🥂🅰ase your reputation with them. It is worth doing also, as you gain perks by getting in their good graces.

Fighting monsters or sparring with the locals is still relatively simple, but with the new inclusion of a break meter. Once that meter is depleted, yourꦏ punches will pack more of a wallop, causing more damage to ♕your opponent.

8 ♏♊ Improved Farming

Farmi🌃ng has gotten an upgrade in My Time in Sandrock. Gone are the planter boxes from My Time at Portia. Now you can sow your seeds directly into the ground, prepared with spec✤ial tools that have their roots in the real world.

The fertilizer in Sandrock doesn't seem to have the same properties as the Portian variety. Crops now require water instead of just fertilizer, which doesn't seem to affect the yield of what you have planted. So, get that watering can ready — that sand rice won't plant itself.

7 🍸 🐓 Overhauled Fuel System

The largest change to crafting that forme🍸r Portian residents will notice is༒ what it takes to fuel your crafting stations. Like before, most stations require fuel, but this time, you can use any fuel source in any station — including the new fuel, dregs.

Think of how much more you can get done when you don't have to stop to get wood for your furnace and projects quite as often. Fuel isn't the only thing you need to keep things running smoothly. Water is a critical resource in the oasis community of Sandrock. You'll need to keep your workshop tank full in order to keep your crafting stations from overheating in the desert sun.

6 Easy To 𓂃Use Assembly Station

Need an extra recycler? Maybe the all-important dew collector?൩ Head to the assembly station, the spot where you will build commissions, workstations, and other items that are too large for the workbench.

Veteran builders are in for a pleasant surprise this time around. You no longer need to be holding whatever component they are trying to install. It doesn't even have to be in your quick bar, like it did back in your Portia days! You are good to go, as long as it is in your inventory.

5 Exp𓄧anding Your Inventory ☂

My Time At Sandrock expanding inventory slots

L♏ike many games that require you to harvest resources, inventory management can be a pain in the backpack. Thankfully, the My Time series has made it relatively simple to manage your inventory🍨 with its fantastic chest storage.

And that isn't all. Your character's inventory can be upgraded with a simple click of a button, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:assuming you have the gols for it. Purchasing extra room anytime you need it hasn't changed, but how many slots you purchase at a time has. While working in Portia, you had to buy space by the row if you needed more. In Sandrock, you have more flexibility, and can purchase as many individual slots as you need.

4 Cleaning Up Pays O💎ff

Sandrock is a town in the middle of ꦓa sandy desert. Anyone who has ever been to a beach or Tatooine can tell you that sand gets everywhere. Your workshop is n♏o exception. Every so often, you will have to take some time out of your busy day of crafting and collecting to whip out your trusty feather duster, and use it to beat back the encroaching desert.

Allowing sand to collect will apply debuffs to your equipment, which means costing more fuel to operate. You can also run around the town of Sandrock picking up litter, which will provide you with scraps of materials. These materials can be placed into yo♓ur recycler to generate resources.

3 The Ruins Have An A꧟ll-New L🐻ook

While in Sandrock, you will often have to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:delve into abandoned ruins for relics and raw materials needed in your mission to restore the Oasis to its former glory. This is❀ the same๊ as in Portia, but with some significant upgrades.

You will immediately notice how the ruins are more visually diverse, sporting nodes of ore in addition to what is foun𒉰d in the ground. You will have an easier time picking out the resource you need than in Portia, whe🔯re the only difference between sand and copper was a difference in texture. Finding and accessing the next level of the ruins also requires you to find the door, giving you a reason to keep digging.

2 No More Sle꧑ep To Save

Getting into bed

Many quality-of-life im🦂provements have been made with this installment of the My Time series, but the king of them is the new save system. You can save𝔍 the game anytime through the menu system, instead of having to go to bed.

Sleeping was a great way to pass the time in the evening to speed up crafting, but it could get frustrating when you needed to exit the game at midday. With this change, there is no more waiting until morning before shutting down the game, so you don't lose a whole day's worth of crafting and love-punching.

1 ꧟ Knowledge Is Power 🌠

While wandering around the wilds of Portia, you would constantly come across ﷺvarious flora and fauna — some hostile, others neutral. The only thing you get to learn abouꦗt these guys is what kind of loot they drop, and what their names are.

My T𒈔ime at Sandrock, however, gives you an encyclopedia tab. You collect informatiꦉon on nearly everything you interact with, from bumble ants to tumbleweeds. The first time you kick a tree or defeat a monster, an entry gets made, fleshing out the world of Sandrock a bit more.
