Autopilot is a new mechanic introduced in these games, and it can be more useful than you may first think. You can use the tunnel to🦩 jump between the Pelipper Post Office and your base. So you don't have to cut through the town square anymore to pick up missions from the office board. It is also useful to check out when you know you are in for a cutscene. If a cutscene is due for you, the hole will be filled in to fo🃏rce you to go to the town square.
