The amazing Unreal Engine 5 tech demo that was recently broadcast has now been confirmed to work on both the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Series X and the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 5.
On May 13, a trailer was shown for the Unreal Engine 5 that was called Lumen in the Land of Nanite, which revealed the kinds of things that the engine can do wh🔯en ran through the PlayStation 5's hardware. The demo showed off the incredible graphical quality that the system will be capable of, allowing for unprecedented l꧑evels of detail that can extend as far as the horizon.
The fact that the Unreal Engine 5 demo was specifically mentioned as running on PlayStation 5 hardware led some fans to believe that it can't run as well on the Xbox Series X. This has now been debunked by Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney, who has uploaded a tweet saying that everything shown 🙈in the Unreal Engine 5 demo will work on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Microsoft only has itself to blame for this misconception,🦋 following the recent disaster of the Xbox 20/20 "gameplay" trailer. Microsoft promoted a streaming event that would show gameplay footage of upcoming Xbox Series X games, and then proceeded to barely show any gameplay footage. It didn't help that the games themselves wouldn't have looked amiss on the Xbox One, making fans wonder about the point of spending hundreds of dollars on an upgrade.
The Unreal Engine 5 demo did more for promoting the ne𓃲xt generation of consoles than anything Microsoft or Sony has said in th𝔉e past few months.
Both companies have been full of air when it comes to the supposed power of their new systems. Regardless, the "Lumen in the Land of Nanite" tech demo has demonstrated the graphical capabilities of both consoles ♚in a way that most fans should be able to understand, unlike the baffling PlayStation 5 event that revealed technical aspects of the system. It's a shame that Microsoft and Sony have to rely on outside companies to promote their systems and both need to step up their game if they want people to buy a next-gen console this Christmas.
The PlayStation 5 🅠and the Xbox Serꦚies X will be released in 2020.
