Anime and Fortnite fans have reasons to rejoice as legendary manga💮 and anime character Naruto is (very probably) coming to Fortnite.

Speculation had been rife that Naruto was coming to Fortnite after leaked internal documents showed a codename "Headband" (Naruto is famous for wearing one). Epic's chief creative officer Donald Mustard then confirmed that Naruto would be coming to the hugely popular online game, which is developed and published by Epic.

However, instead of Naruto, what we actually got was Carnage, which led many to think the character had been pushed back for whatever reason. Mustard later cleared things up, saying Naruto wasn't supposed to be part of the battle pass, but leaving many to wonder when the young ninja would appear in the game.

But a ser🍌ies of new leaks from prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX has revealed more details. And it appears things are getting real.

The details include:

  • Mythic explosive Kunai to be added as a weapon
  • A ramen bowl as a Creative coin

HYPEX feels confident the Naruto link-up is happening and backs up his confidence with references to new Creative Coins he discovered, Ramen and Ninja Scroll, which were added to the game. What isn't yet known is what the Fortnite Naruto character will actually look like. But with leaks coming fresh and fast, it wouldn't be a surprise if the Naruto skin is either revealed or dropped into Fortnite very soon - perhaps within the next week.

Fortnite seems to have been preparing the way for a Naruto appearance for some time with a "Naruto run" in the game, which debuted in autumn 2019. But this particular collab could pave the way for more and there will be Dragon Ball Z fans who may be chomping at the bit for some Goku action in Fortnite. Demon Slayer would be another hugely popular addition. Fortnite is such a global phenoꩵmenon that it has already collaborated with br🍎ands and figures such as Marvel, the NFL, Horizon Zero Dawn, the Star Wars universe, Batman, The Walking Dead, Lara Croft, and Neymar.

Maybe even a Squid Game tie-up wouldn't be out of the question?
