Speaking to Fandom, Nolan North uncovered the time when he had lunch with Chris Pine and told him he would be perfect for the role. As North had a small role in Star Trek: Into Darkness, he had the opportunity to watch Pine behind the scenes and was relatively convinced that the actor 𝔍could easily become the treasure hunter. He reiterated to Pine that if the script should ever 𝔍fall into his lap, he should seriously consider it, however no one knows if producers even put that offer on the table.
The voice actor has previously talked about his dislike forཧ the live-action being produced and restated to Fandom that he didn’t think it was a wise choice to make a 1:1 adaptation of the game as it could never be replicated. However, Nolan hypothesized that if there was a straight clone of the game series, then Pine would be his number one choice. He c♐ontinued by saying that Pine, to him, had the charm and humor to carry Drake on the big screen and is certainly more than𓃲 capable of doing some stunt work. While Pine doesn’t carry all the physical features of Drake, it’s a good shout for an actor that could embody his winning personality.

He spoke to the Retro Replay YouTube channel on his worries over the Uncharted film being carried across to the big screen, especially after years of being passed from director to director. It’s a troubling sign when so many directors leav💞e a production as it gives an obvious indication to fans that something within the creative direction of the adaptation is not🌠 working.
Tom Hol༺land will be leading the live-action as Nathan Drake with Mark Wahlberg playing Sully and Venom director Ruben Fleischer at the helm, for now. One can only hope 𒅌that after years of delays and uncertainties it will at least triumph over the failed video game adaptations gone before.
