When the Denver Nuggets chose to draft Michael Porter Jr. coming out of Missouri, it was a calculated risk. Porter Jr. was coming off of a major injury, but he had all the talent in the world. In terms of both stature and scoring ability, he's the closest thing the league has to a Kevin Durant clone.

In 2021 he'll look to bring a veteran presence to the Chicago Bulls, in hopes of making a playoff run with a talented and upcoming roster. Some players will scoff at DeRozan being the sixth-best small forward and sporting an 85 overall, but real basketball fans understand what he's accomplished and just how talented he is.
5 Jayleꦑn Brown (86) 🗹
Jaylen Brown is often discussed as possibly the most intelligent player in the NBA, but listening to 💧him speak builds the belief he may be among the most intellectual modern athletes, regardless of sport.
On the court, Brown is just as impressive and his 86 overall represents the type of talent he brings alongside his Boston Celtics running mate, Jayson Tatum. Averaging 22 points per game in the NBA 🎃is no easy feat, and Brown did that in 2020.
4 ♔ Khris Middleton (88)
If it wasn't for the all-time greatness of Giannis Antetokounmpo, more people would put respect on Khris Middleton's name. The reigning and defending NBA champion is considered a sidekick on his team, but he's a bonified star.
An 88 overall may seem high for him, but coming off of a championship run where he was the clear second scoring option makes it hard not to place Middleton in the top five of his primary position. He'll likely need to take another jump moving forward, though, if he wants to hold this position.
3 🍸 Jimmy Butler (91)
There are two things that no one should question in regards to Jimmy Butler, and that's his work ethic and defensive effort. He's found a home in South Beach as a member of the Miami Heat, with his 91 overall earned via his role as the team leader and superstar the last two seasons.
Butler might not be the flashiest or most entertaining player to use in NBA 2K22, but it's hard to find someone that puts in the same effort every single game.
2 Kawhi Leonard (95)🤡
It looks like NBA 2K doesn't factor in current injuries when calculating overalls, as Kawhi Leonard lands as the second-best small forward in NBA 2K22, with an overall of 95. It's unclear if Leonard will play in the upcoming season, as he is looking at a long road to recover rehabbing his injury suffered during the 2021 NBA Playoffs.
He's a complete wing player, whose only valid criticism lays in the management style he demands from his team and front office.
