Much like its predecessor, NEO features a vibrant cast of characters each with distinct personalities, and while they're all likable, some of them have captured our hearts more than others.

7 Nagi Usui

Nagi Usui is recruited by the Wicked Twisters on day three of week one after Rindo and Fret hear rumors of a powerful new player entering the fray who’s armed 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:with an arsenal of pins. Although reluctant to have Nagi on board when her powerfu🐓l array of pins turn out to simply be a bundle of purchased and handmade merchandise, she soon establishes herself as a capable fighter and valuable member of the๊ team.
Nagi is fairly subdued and can often be neurotic - however, she’s also highly percept♋ive and can read others well. She’s deeply passionate about her interest🔥s, virtually living for her hobbies, especially the popular video game, Elegant Strategy, which she adores so much initially her sole reason for wanting to return to life is so she can continue playing her favorite game.
6 Daisukenojo 'Beat' Bito

Beat was the final partner to the original The World End With You’s protagonist, Neku. Loud, lively, and impulsive, Beat may put on a tough exterior but has a big heart underneath and would do anything for his friends. Initially entering The Reaper’s game alongside his younger sister, Rythme, Beat was left angry and devastated after she was erased by the noise. He made some questionable choices in the aftermath bu🍃t eventually 𓄧returned to fight alongside Neku cementing his good heart and loyalty.
A lovable guy and brave fighter, Beat enters the Reapers Game again under mysterious circumstances in NEO and you first meet him on week one day seven after he rescues Rindo from ♉Kaichi Suzuki. He soon joins the Wicked Twisters as an ally and party member.
5 Shoka Sa🅰kurane

Shoka is first intro🌳duced as one of The Reapers overseeing the game. She serves as a reluctant guide to Rindo and Fret when they’ve first entered the game and they remain wary of her motives and unfriendly attitude. It’s revealed that she won her own game three years prior but felt apathetic to return back to life so was made a reaper instead.
On day seven of week two, Shoka is fired from the reapers after it’s discovered she’s been secretly aiding the Wicked Twisters, and she’s demoted to player status. She’s soon attacked by Noise and rescued by Rindo who offers her a space on the team to her shock. She quickly agrees and becomes another much-needed ally f💫or the Twisters. Although Initially blunt, rude, and condescending, Shoka turns out to be one of the most complex characters in NEO.
4 🔜 🌺 Sho Minamimoto

Another familiar face from The World Ends With Yo✱u, Sho Minamimoto was an antagonist in the original game but now serves as a player and joins Rindo’s newly formed team. With allusive alternative motivations and a clear disregard for the Wicked Twisters - early on he purely uses the team to further his independent cause, Minamimoto is a compelling and fascinating character to both old and new fans alike.
Obsessed with equations Minamimoto reacts in disdain to those he deems weak, including his own teammates. Aloof, abrasive, and uncooperative, he's formidable in a fight, and while his personality doesn’t do much to draw in peers and players at first, the mystery surrounding his intentions is one of the most intriguing plot points in the game.
3 Tosai 'Fret' Furesawa

Extroverted and outgoing, Fret is the cool, happy-go-lucky best pal of Rindo, who’s pulled into The Reapers game alongside him at the beginning of NEO. While he’s just as baffled by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:what’s going on in Shibuya, he’s much more easy-going and enthusiastic about the situation than his friend. Fret is charismatic and extremely talkative, easily striking up a conversation with everybody he meets and his attitude makes him a loyal and trusted ally. He can be impulsive however and has a tendency to act first and think second, which can result in negative consequences for both himself and those arouℱnd him.
Despite this, Fret’s heart is always i♎n the right place, he injects a lot of light and life into the game and offers some great comic relief. Much like Shoka, it’s revealed that F💜ret has a fairly deep backstory, overall factoring into his positive persona.

Neku was the face of The World Ends With You as the protagonist of the original game, and upon NEO’s release, there was a lot of speculation around whether or not he would return for the sequel. To fans’ delight, Neku did enter another Reapers G🏅ame, returning three years later now carrying the status of a Legendary Player. He crosses paths with Rindo, Beat, and the rest of the Wicked Twisters on day five of week three, saving the team when they’re attacked by the noise form of Minamimoto.
While the fresh facꦜes of NEO are all endearing, it’s impossible to not rank Neku highly due to the legacy he created, and the emotional character arc he went through in the original game. His journey from an unsociable, uncooperative loner to an understanding hero equally inspired and lifted the hearts of fans worldwide.

Cautious, observant, and introverted, Rindo becomes the leader of The Wicked Twisters once he and Fret are pulled into The Reapers Game. Passive and shy by nature, he's a polar opposite in contrast to Fret, initially acting as more of a bystander when the time comes for the team to make important decisions. He's subdued and can be indecisive but always puts up a fight and cares deeply about his friends, always doing his best to protect them.
While it may be cliche and predictable to give the main protagonist the highest ranking, Rindo is not only the face of NEO but the lens through which many eager new fans, and ultimately an entire generation will discover TWEWY. He's distinctly different from Neku but just as endearing and nobody else could lead the Wicked Twisted, and capture fans' hearts quite like Rindo.
