Netflix is fully embracing its nerdier side as the company has just annဣounced a “Geeked Week” event that will feature some of its bigger video game-related productions, including the likes of Resi🌟dent Evil, The Witcher, and Cuphead.
Despite releasing a new official trailer for Resid♔ent Evil: Infinite Darkness, Netflix has at least one more project related to the franchise, that being a live-action show starring Wesker siblings Jade and Billie across multiple timelines. Those three represent just a few out of the many projects in store focused on gaming franchis𒅌es, which also include Devil May Cry, The Division, Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, Sonic The Hedg♑ehog, and even Cyberpunk 2077.
As part of Netfli🌠x’s ever-growing efforts to tap into the gaming industry the Cuphead, The Witcher, and Resident Evil trio is set to appear alongside other successful Netflix shows like The Umbrella Academy and Lucifer in an event that will run from June 7 to 11. While Netflix doesn’t tend 🔯to showcase trailers unless something is close to its premiere, Cuphe🌠ad’s announcement last summer makes it the likelier candidate to get a full-blown video preview since Geeked Week is earmarked to include news and first looks.
The new Masters of the Universe He-Man movie, as well as the live-action adaptation of glorified anime Cowboy Bebop, are also primed to get some develo🍷pment updates as Netflix starts to plan out the rest of 2021. So far the company had disclosed two of its hit series, The Witcher and Cobra Kai, are slated to be out by the last quarter of the year, so it’s pretty unlikely fans will get to 💙see much of Henry Cavill’s Geralt for the time being.
With The Witcher 3’s next-gen upgrade also on the horizon, it’s a toss up between that and season two to see which one will bring Geralt back into gamers’ lives. Meanwhile, considering the widespread sucꦉcess ꧑of Resident Evil Village, there doesn’t seem to be a better time fo🦋r Netflix to release its take on one of Capcom’s most successful franchises, even though the company’s💃 adaptations have not necessarily enjoyed the king of fan approval producers might have expected.
For every wonderful Castlevania anime, there’s also a shameful Death Note movie, but Netflix does seem keen on leveling up for the future with moves such as the hiring of John Wick mastermind Derek Kolstad to handle Sam Fisher’s transition to animation. At least 168澳洲幸运5开奖ꦐ网:Cuphead’s cartoonish charm and vin𒐪tage vibes give it m🦄ore enough uniqueness in today’s animation landscape, so thꦚat it may end up being less of a wild card.
