Garena Free Fire is prepping to tackle armed robbery and theft with some help from the team behind Netflix’s popular series Money Heist. The game developer of 2019’s most downloaded mobile game will be joining hands with the Spanish series for a limited♋ event that will feature some nꦐew gear, outfits, and a new game mode to try out for fans.
Garena Free Fire being a mobile gamers and a battle royale has made it widely accessible enough to gain quite a following. Played in third-person, up to 50 players can take part in the battle royale in a setup similar to other titles like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fortnite. Also known as Free Fire Battlegrounds, the mobile game earned a spot alongside 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PUBG Mobile and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty: Mobile.
The announcement was made this week on the game’s YouTube channel. In this upcoming crossover with Money Heist, players can partake in a new mode that is titled after the series. In this new update, the upcoming mode will consist of a 4v4 battle where two teams will face off to collect as many banknotes as they can before t𓆏he time expires. In order to collect these banknotes, players must locate Money Presses, in-game printing presses that can be found on the map.꧋ The team that defends their territory and reaches the required number of banknotes wins the match.
Garena producer Harold Teo touched on this with Netflix to provide players with a brand-new experience to partake in the game for fans of the game and the web series. "Many of us at Garena are fans of the show, and so are millions of our players worldwide. We are thrilled that we can deliver this crossover to our community. We hope they enjoy it as much as we did bringing this together." It will be a full-on takeover as Teo said that this would help create some memorable experiences for players of Free Fire.
The crossover will be going live in September with the Money Heist theme appearing in most parts of the game. So expect to see red jumpsuits and masks from the Netflix series becoming part of your outfit once the event starts. The ꩲgame is now available to play on all iOS and Android devices.
