Although most fans have been praising Netflix's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Witcher  series for how it accurately portrays its source material, there was one big feature missing in the show's first season: the card game, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gwent. Gwent has evolved into a massively popular game within the world of The Witcher, and𝓀 Netflix definitely needs to include it within the show's sec🐬ond season.

Gwent first appeared in the original novels by Andrzej Sapowski, and virtually blew up once a playable version of the game was introduced in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Following The Witcher 3's release, a full blown Gwent game was released on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC, before later finding its way onto mobile. The "game within a game" has taken o♈n a life of its own, and has even developed a competitive scene.

Gwent became so popular within The Witcher 3 that many players found themselves ignoring quests for hours on end just to play the card game. It became an incredibly easy way to become sidetracked, as you could even challenge various quest NPC's for a quick game, as well as collect rare cards throughout The Witcher 3's massive open world. Given this, its easy to see why Gwent received a standalone rel🅘ease on so many platforms.

There's a good chance that the show's second season will include the game, but how exactly Netflix decides to implement it is up in the air. Of course, a game of Gwent could be a small Easter egg in the background of a scene, or Geralt might even be challengeꦰd to a hand in order to win valuable information or an important artifact. We're not exactly sure how it should happen, but it definitely needs to.

Another interesting feature of Gwent is the fact that many of the cards are based on real world characters within the world of The Witcher. This could lead to the cards being treated as collectibles or souvenirs by characters in the show, or we could even see a card being used to introduce a character. Given the prevalence of Gwent throughout the Continent, the possi🤡bilities are endless.

Either way, Gwent has grown into such a popular feature in the world of The Witcher that it would b🌄e hard to believe that Netflix wouldn't at least hint at it in the show's second season. We'd love to see Henry Cavill's Geralt play a hand.
