For the past few days, rumors have been flying regarding the possibility of a Nintendo Direct taking place at the end of this week. Industry insider Jeff Grubb recently hinted that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:there could be a Direct of some kind next mo🐈nth, but 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:an update from Nintendo Japan has hinted that it could occur sooner. Now that we know a Direct is likely, insiders are coming out of the woodwork to share their hints at possible reveals that could take place during the show. One of these leakers is a Twitter account going by the name Pyoro, which claims that a new 2D Mario game is in development and will be revealed at the next Nintendo Direct. The tweet is very cryptic, and there's no indication that Pyoro is using reliable sources, so take this with a massive pinch of salt. However, the thing that makes Pyoro a bit more of an interesting case is that they recently 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:predict﷽ed the exis♊tence of Sonic Superstars as well as the stealth announcement of Everybody 1-2-ꦜSwitch at the start of the mo🍸nth.Related: Why Is Nintendo Scare Of Celebrating𝓀 Pride On The eS🐓hop? Both of those predictions gives Pyoro a bit more weight than you're average anonymous ൲Twitter insider, though it's worth pointing out that they also have made very few tweets considering the account is over two years old. With obscure "insiders" like this, it's always possible they simply made a bunch of random predictions and deleted the ones that weren't accurate. However, the specificity of the Everybody 1-2-Switch leak and Sonic Superstars makes Pyoro one to at least keep an eye on.

It's not exactly absurd to imagine that Nintendo could announce a new 2D Mario though, especially when you conside𝕴r it's still yet to capitalise on the success of the Super Mario Bros. Movie with a new game. Nintendo's slate of titles releasing in the second half of 2023 is pr💎etty bare, and it's very possible we could see a new Mario game announced with a release date scheduled for this holiday season.

As for the "remake of an SNES classic" that's allegedly going to be announced, that claim is a lot ☂more vague and could mean literally anything. Those who've seen the tweet are suggesting it could be everything from Chrono Trigger to Super Mario RPG, but there's absolutely nothing pointing towards those outcomes at the moment. As usual, it's best waiting until we get the official announcement that a Nintendo Direct is actually happening first, and then we can maybe start getting a little excited.
