Phantom Liberty will conclude Cyberpunk 2077, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:be𒁃in𝓀g its first and only story expansion. Af🍨ter that, the developers will move on to a full-fledged sequel, closing the book on 2077 and its chaotic, but eventually successful lifecycle.

Controversially, Phantom Liberty is 1💝68澳洲幸运5开奖网:sticking w🐲ith its current-gen exclusivity, with CD Projekt Red 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:halting support for PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game last year. This is despite the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 didn't even launch on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, only getting upgraded to this hardware in February 2022 - well over a year after its initial release. Now, anyone who wants to wrap up their time in Night City will have to either play on current-gen hardware or a PC, otherwise, they'll be locked out of it completely.

It's not very surprising to see CDPR leave older consoles behind, however, as it's clear that it's focussing on the future of the series, not the past. We already know that the sequel, Project Or꧂ion, will ♍start the (incredibly early) stages of development next year, as the devs are satisfied with the state of the game after its disastrous launch. For now, we'll just have to wait and see if Phantom Liberty sticks the landing, as it definitely has some tough acts to follow with the last few updates and even the Edgerunners anime.
