It's Disney Plus Day, as arbitrarily defined by the largest media corporation the world has ever seen, so that means Disney is announcing a whole slew of shows and movies coming soon to its streaming platform.

Disney made sure all the big announcements got broadcast on social media, leaving us a giant tweetstorm to pick through to get to the good stuff. We're going to skip the new Ice Age movie, the new Chip 'n Dale film, and the live-action Pinocchio starring Tom Hanks and just get to the Marvel stuff. You can see the✃ whole thing💙 starting with this tweet .

We'll begin with easily the strangest announcement: , a reboot of the original X-Men Saturday morning cartoon that aired in the '90s. Disney made the announcement using the well-known X-Men meme of Wolverine lovingly patting a framed portrait.

That's not the only meme that Disney is banking on. Wandavision meme Agatha Harkness , and , the same character from the "" meme, is also getting his own live-action series. It's clear at this point that Disney has so much money it can afford to throw it away on living the meme.

But it also has enough money to make real shows. , the deaf superheroine, will bring a sequel to Daredevil sometime sooꦦn, while will take over the mantle of Ironman from now-dead Tony Stark. will pick up from where Captain Marvel left off with the invasion of the Skrulls, and will bring some serious girl power.🤡

There's also a bunch of animated series to get excited about besides the X-Men reboot. will have us experience a slightly older Spider-Man, while will show how Groot is getting on after his rejuvenation in the latest Guardians of the Galaxy film. hasn't been described, but presumably, it'll be about... zombies.

is also coming soon, although Disney didn't commit to when. The only date we have confirmed is , which will arrive in the summer of 2022.
