After🔯 you make your way through Founja Jungle, you’ll simꦬultaneously gain access to Sweltering Sands and Blushing Beach. It doesn’t matter which order you visit these new areas in, although it’s worth noting that you won’t get access to Blusing Beach (Night) until a fair bit later on in the story, whereas Sweltering Sands (Night) is unlockable as soon as you level up the daytime version.

Regardless of which ♏order you travel to these locations in, Sweltering Sands is a mandatory level and is teeming with loads of great Pokemon. As a result, we’ve put together a comprehensive list of every single Pokemon you can encounter in Sweltering Sands d🍷uring the day, as well as where to find them and what ranks they appear at.

If you’ve been following our New Pokemon Snap complete guid෴e and walkthrough, you’ll likely already know that we don’t repeat ranks - if Skorupi is in Sweltering Sands (Day) rank one, we’re not going to bother listing it in rank two as well, because Skorupi appears in all three ranks. Instead, we’ll use the sections for ranks two and three to list the new ‘mons they introduce. With that established, let’s get cracking on our list of every single Pokemon in Sweltering 𓄧Sands (Day).

List Of Pokemon In Sweltering Sands (Day) Rank 1

  • Skorupi - One of the first Pokemon you’ll see when you spawn in. Here’s a neat little hint: when you see the sandstorms, pay close attention to Skorupi, who will get swept up inꦿ it. If you take a photo of Skorupi flying around in the air, you’ll be awarded an easy four-star rating.
  • Heliolisk - Right at the beginning of the map, a♊sleep on the sand dune opposite where you start.
  • Cacnea - On the sand dune opposite Heliolisk as you round💃 the corner towards the sandstorms.
  • Mandibuzz - Flying around the sandstorms and perched on rocks to the right of the top of the hill yo🍒u go over.
  • Hippowdon - Once you go past the sandstorms and over the hill, the first Hippowdon you see will be i🤡n▨ the little oasis. There’s also one sleeping on his right and loads in the end section.
  • Torchic - Stan𒈔ding by the water next🦩 to the bathing Hippowdon.
  • Pಌinsir - In a crater to your right in the end section - hit it with a flಞuffruit to wake it up.
  • Trapinch - In the crater to your left, just before Pinsir’s one. Again, you have to clock it with a Pokemon apple t♓o make iꦯt jump out of the sand.
  • Vivillon (Sandstor💙m Pattern) - Flying around the same end section. Obviously it’s the sandstorm pattern.
  • Flygon - Appears if you stop the sandstorm by throwing Illumina orbs at the three Crystabloom flowers around it.

List Of Pokemon In Sweltering Sands (Day) Rank 2

  • Onix - Now that Hippowdon is awake you can choose to go left or right at the oasis. Going riওght brings you to a new e🍌nd location, which is filled to the brim with gigantic rock snakes you can’t possibly miss.
  • Lycanroc - On the♐ large rock next to the oasis on the way to Onix.
  • Tyranitar - Beneath Lycanroc.
  • Scorbunny - Behind a boulder on your right just after you spawn. Throw a rock over it to get Scorbunny’s attention. If you go left to Pinsir and Trapinch, it will show up again before the teleportat♓ion point.

List Of Pokemon In Sweltering Sands (Day) Rank 3

  • Silicobra - I am con𒐪vinced this isn’t in previous ranks, although it seems like a pretty lousy rank three Pokemon. Near the spawn point or next to the oasis. Honestly. S♐ilicobra’s spawns are so weird across both Sweltering Sands (Day) and (Night) that I stopped paying attention to it as soon as I’d added it to my Photodex.

And that’s it, every single Pokemon in Sweltering Sands (Day), including where t▨o find them and which rank they st𝔍art appearing on. Happy snapping!
