There are no words on what platforms the Black Panther game is targeting, or when we can expect to see anything like screenshots or trailers - much less a release window. With this𒆙 in mind, it definitely seems that the title is in the early stages of production, with these vague descriptionsꦇ of what the team wants from the game the only aspect of it that can be shared with the public right now.
"We want our game to enable players to feel what it’s like to be worthy of the Black Panther mantle in unique, story-driven ways, and we want Cliffhanger Games to empower everyone on our team as we collaborate to bring this amazing world to life," says Stephens. His use of language such as "reactive", "agency" and "control" could be hinting that players will be able to make different decisions in the story, influencing the state of Wakanda as its people. That would line up with players up the mantle of Black Panther, since their job is to not only protect Wakanda, but lead ඣit and make huge decisions regarding its future.
