The trailer was posted by developer Insomniac Games via its official Twitter account, and it started with a new look at Mile🍒s Morales first. MJ also has a brand new look for Spider-Man 2, though it's a little less drastic than Miles'. You can see her briefly in a couple of scenes in the trailer, and instead of the shorter ﷽hair tied back in a ponytail that we saw in the first game, MJ is now rocking much longer hair that goes past her shoulders. Both characters haven't changed all that much truth be told, but they do look a little different to signify the time difference between Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2.
Speaking of time differences, it was also revealed during the panel that the time gap b�🅠�etween Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2 is around about nine months, which goes some way into explaining why both ꦛMiles and MJ are rocking new hairstyles. This means that it's been almost an entire year before Miles' first standalone advent♉ure, and both him and Peter Parker have become a "well-oiled machine" when it comes to crime fighting.
