There are countless funny and well-developed personalities in New 💝Tales, so here are all those that truly shine.

10 ꦰ Susan Coldwell ཧ

Borderlands is a franchise known for its compelling evil villains, and Susan Coldwell is no exception. As the name Coldwell suggests, Susan is a cold and calculated CEO of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the weapon ma💯nufacturing corporatioℱn Tediore, which aims to seize control of Atlas and launches a f🌊ull-scale attack on Promethea.

Coldwell is an extremely arrogant and vile narcissist who will stop at nothing as she seeks the ultimate goal of annihilating all the corporations or having them bend to her will to merge them into one giant entity. She also puts the main cast through a torturous ordeal and is an all-around wicked human being 168澳洲幸运5开奖网💦:bordering on the level of Handsom🌳e Jack.

9 🌠 Rhys Strongfork ꦛ

Screenshot of Rhys Strongfork confronting Anu in his Atlas office early in the game.

The CEO of Atlas Corporation and a character first introduced in Tales from the Borderlands, Rhys continues his role where 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Borderlands 3 left off, with his "siege mustache" and frequent outbursts still intact. His irritability becomes far worse in this game, and he speaks in a pas🥀sive-aggressive tone because of all the turmoil and pressure the Atlas Corporation faces.

When not in distress about t𝓀he fate of Atlas, his favorite hobbies are collecting rare Vaultlander figures and ordering around TIMM-E, his robot assistant. He also gets very sentimental about his stuff and throws a screaming tantrum when it disappears on him due to a teleport gun mishap, but it’s always nice to see a familiar face.

8 Badass Superfan ꦑ

A Tediore soldier with an alarming obsession for Vaultlander figures and battles, Badass Superfan makes for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a hilarious supporting character. You encounter him early on when Octavio gets spotted trying to sneak behind him on his way to the Vault entrance. After being caught, he’ll grant you access only if you beat him in a match of Vaultlanders, which introduces the game's new arcade-style figure fighting mechanic.

Badass Superfan’s personality has the right amount of awkwardness and earnestness. He never lets up and creepily follows your group across the episodes to engage in tabletop Vaultla♏nder battles, often appearing in the oddest places, like from the inside of the freezer at Fran’s Frogurt.

7 ♏ 🀅 Finnegan W. Triton

During the third episode, the main trio decides to enter a show called "Sink or Swim." It's the barbaric Borderlands version of Shark Tank, where if you fail to reach an investor with your unimpressive product, you'll get dunked into a giant pool of sharks and be eaten alive. And the host of this show is the devilishly sly Finnegan W. Triton.

Finnegan's character captures the true essence of what a brutal reality show host in a dystopian society should be. He's a sadist that cares little for the ideas behind the invention and more about the entertainment of getting the contestants fed to the sharks. Even though his appearance is brief, his distinct style of dress and arrogant yet deceiving tone stick with you.

6 Phuong

Screenshot of Phuong chatting with Anu from her desk.

Phuong is a research assistant employed under the Atlas Corporatio🃏n who works alongside Dr. Anu Dhar. While her partner is more of an introvert, she’s someone who doesn’t take things too seriously and loves to roast others. When she talks, she frequently uses her unique slang andꦬ a sarcastic tone that pokes fun at Anu.

Her personality can come off as insincere, but she has a big heart. With Atlas facing another invasion, this time by Tediore, Phuong brushes off any feelings of panic and immediately looks out for Anu. She helps෴ her get to an escape pod, which is inadvertently Rhys’ car, so Anu can get to Promethea and rescue her brother.

5 TIMM-E

Screenshot of TIMM-E talking to Rhys in his office.

Move over, BD-1; there's a new adorable robot in town that displays an even stronger loyalty to his owner. TIMM-E is a service robot programmed by the Atlas Corporation to act as the faithful personal assistant to CEO Rhys Strongfork. TIMM-E’s tasks often include summoning the desired personnel to Rhy’s office and being used as a comfortable office chair for Rhys to sit on.

The manner in which TIMM-E speaks is extremely cute with that cheerful distorted robot voice and remains in a constant state of optimism. The rob𝓰ot can deliver the most horrible news in a nonchalant courteous tone as if it’s no big deal, which compliments the charm. TIMM-E is also a funny character because he teleports 𝓰in and out of crucial scenes as part of a recurring joke.

4 Anu Dhar

Screenshot of Anu at the beginning of the game, having just released the jabbers.

An employee of Atlas and the first character you get to play as in the game, Dr. Anu Dhar is a researcher who puts ethics above everything in the scientific field. From the moment she’s int⛎roduced, she frees a horde of animal test subjects undergoing cruel experimentation and utilizes her brilliant mind to create a gun that can teleport enemies and heal serious wounds.

Anu is also quite a bundle of nerves, and she can suffer a panic attack in almost any situation, indicated by a dialogue option you can select through her conversations. Given all her social awkwardness and anxieties, she's a driven character who can still handle things with grace and share a laugh, which makes her relatable and admirable.

3 Oc𓄧tavio Wallace-Dhܫar

Screenshot of Octavio Wallace-Dhar during his intro in New Tales from the Borderlands.

The younger and more naive adopted brother of Anu, Octavio, chases nothing but fame and popularity. One of his greatest aspirations is to become a high-grossing public figure on Forge’s list of wealthi💛est people, a play on Forbe’s List. His job at a frozen yogurt place is seemingly insufficient, so he survives the streets of Promethea by stealing.

Octavio's personality is a direct antithesis of Anu's, for he's an extremely chill and confident character in even the tensest situations and always tries to keep everyone calm and lift their spirits. Although Octavio’s moral compass is laxer than his sister’s, he shares the same pacifist views on murder and hates it.

2 Fran Miscowicz ♛ ꧃

Screenshot of Fran entering her frozen yogurt business in New Tales from the Borderlands.

Struggling small business owner Francine Miscowicz expresses utter contempt for domineering corporations like Atlas and especially Maliwan because their senseless invasions have caused immense structural damage and equipm☂ent failure to her frozen yogurt shop. As a result, she developed intense anger issues and is trying to manage them with the help of her Sponsor-Bot.

The way she sometimes attempts to restrain herself from losing her cool by shouting incoherent gibberish when stressful situations arise is hysterical. Fran also has an awesome hoverchair with multiple functions that can help her through combat or get things into working order around the shop. It has a mechanical fist for punching various machines into operation and a freeze ray for💦 enemies.

1 L0U13

Screenshot of L0U13 inside of Fran's Frogurt shop in New Tales from the Borderlands.

L0U13, also pronounced𝐆 “Louie,” is a murderous robot that will instantly become one of your favorite characte🐲rs in New Tales. He represents a hilarious irony in that he’s an assassin robot programmed to kill anyone with a bounty only before knowing their name, but incessantly hounds Octavio for his thievery.

He has a hint of a British accent in his robotic voice that sounds somewhat like C-3PO and speaks in a very proper and elegant tone, making his delivery of harsh ꧙and drastic statements sound perfectly 🦩normal. L0U13 also has a funny way of recharging by plugging himself into a wall socket as though he were some appliance.
