It’s non-stop over at Games Workshop with the announcement of new releases for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Warhammer 40,000, with new Codex Supplement𒀰s, accessories, and units for Deathwatch and Space Wolves.

When tabletop war game Warhammer 40,000 9th Edition released 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:earlier this year, GW announced the end of Space Marine Chapter specific Codexes, stating that the popular Chapters would instead receive codex supplements. The difference is subtle and while it may feel like nothing more than a marketing gimmick, at its heart is an attempt to unify and streamline the fielding of different Space Marine Chapters. Codex Supplements promise Chapter-specific rules that build upon, rather than replace the established rules in the core 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Space Marine Codex. There will also be a detailed history a🌠nd background related to the Chapter.

GW has teased two of the Imperium’s more famous Space Marine Chapters, and for once there isn’t a single Ultramarine in sight. A slight lie I know, as Deathwatch is a Chapter made up entirely of veter🧔ans from across all the Adeptus Astartes. It is entirely probable there will be o👍ne of the boys in blue amongst the ranks. Deathwatch can be thought of as humanity’s last defense against the enemy. Only the most battle-hardened warriors achieve this accolade. They are often sent into situations as small strike forces and are tasked with dispatching the Xenos threat.

The Space Wolves were founded by Leman Russ, one of the Emperor's chos♏en sons, during the First Founding. They are a natural choice to receive a Codex Supplement as unlike many of the other Chapters their adherence to Codex Astartes couldn’t be further away. They are outliers renowned for thei𓃲r close combat skills and the legends of the Space Wolves are told across all the known Worlds.

The Codex Supplements are not the only 40K releases teased. GW also showcased Chapter-themed dice for Deathwatch and Space Wolves. We can assume that all the main Chapters will receive their own dice when their Supplements are released. Each Chapter will also receive a pack of Datacards and the new Combat Patrol boxes - a great way to start or add to an existing army. Finally, the Space Marine Outriders are getting a solo release having made their debut in the 9th Edition box sets. The bikes will be a welcome addition to Ravenwing and White Scars looking to ꦯbuild out their biker wings.

The world of Warhammer 40,000 will get several new releases over the next few months as GW looks to overhaul its range in time for the Holiday season. It will be a cꦯareful balance of releasing what the fans want while breathing new life into neglected armies. We are excited to see what they have in store for us!
