It's always great when a game looks better without any hit to performance. I still recall a free patch for Skyrim on the PlayStation 3 that noticeably improved the game's visuals, making sunsets seem more golden and offering crispier, sharper textures.
Now, for Amazon's massively multiplayer online role-playing game New World such a mod exists.
A simple update can make New World loo♊k that much crisper and contr🙈astier (is that a word?) thanks to a mod created by Adam (whoever you are).
The so-called Adam's New World Enhanced mod offers "a simple and efficient colour correction" that Adam says achieves a realistic look to the game without affecting performance.
It makes New World look less fantasy and more realistic, according to the modder. "I have only used Lightroom's colour correction to achieve the look," he writes, mentioning there is no loss to FPS.
Once installed the mod supposedly creates sharper textures, improves sky lighting, shadows, and colours. It also makes assets such as wood (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:which is important), skin, and foliage look more realistic. Notably, the modder says it doesn't affect the game's performance, which has been beset by some performance issues and glitches.
Enthusiasts have been steadily building mods to improve these issues. For example, New World's open world can be a chore to navigate since players have to constantly open the map, but modders have since 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:created a minimap for those wanting to k𓆏now where to go more conveniently.
