New World players are expressi♓ng their frustrations at the Into the Void patch thanks to its gear resets and added grind.
The Into the Void patch is the latest update to come to New World, which has had a fairly rocky few months, with players reportedly annoyed at the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:lack of punishment for dupers, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:lack of speed, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:tons of bugs, amongst other things. It's been so rocky, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:that the developers have e💎ven admitted that there's quite a lot that needs fixing right now.
Although New World has had its fair share of issues since launch, players have stuck with it in the hopes that it'll be improved. The first chance to do this is with the Into the Void 1.1 update, which is adding the Void Gauntlet weapon alongside the Varangian Knight enemies. Players are already reporting that the new update has added even more grind to the game, and has essentially reset some people's gears.
sums up some of the big complaints that players have about the patch, including the fact that the developers didn't tell players about the incoming nerfs and have dropped them on a community that is already negative about much of the game.
Rimbaldo summed up the disappointment by saying "I've defended the game against a lot of the misinformation and hyperbole that's popular on the sub but this change was a clear fuck-up and a step in the wrong direction".
One key issue is that the Myrkgard Elite runs, which are the best way of increasing gear score at level 60, are much longer, with tougher enemies and worse gear to be found in Elite Chests. Enemies have also been given more health, which makes the runs take more time. New World already has a reputation as a bit of a grind, but increasing the time to level crafting🍌 skills, particularly Jewelcrafting, is being seen as a big blow.
Some players on the Subreddit are even reporting gear changing levels, with one user saying, "Changing perks and turning purples into greens on already acquired gear, either hard grinded or bought. That's the nail in the coffin".
