NFL Street returns in Madden 21. Well, kinda. It’s not quite the same, but you get the s𒉰ame feel for it.

Gamers from a certain era might remember NBA Street, a game that sort of tried to capture the same casual feel as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:NBA Jam did way back in the SNES and Sega Genesis era. That arcade-style of gameplay waꦆs soon extended to football in NFL Street, where arcade-style power meters and stat-boosting equipment made football appealing to non-fo🐎otball fans.

You could even play against rapper Xzibit in NFL Street 2. Not many games where you can say that.

Now it looks like NFL Street is about to make its triumphant return in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Madden 21. But first, it'll arrive on mobile.

Madden 21 Mobile is the companion app to Madden 21 that you can download for iOS and Android right now. It's free-to-play, has all the same football modes you remember from previous games, but now it's got something called The Yard: Underground. EA describes it as "small-sided, backyard football" where each team has just six players on the field. The standard rules of the game are relaxed a bit in the same way as NFL Street, what with 🦹there being no refs iღn most backyard games.

It's not quite the same as NFL Street, though. There's no GameBreaker meter to fill up where you can start plowing through linesmen like they're not even there, or hop over defenders to slap the ball in mid-air. It's also only singleplayer on mobile, although Madden 21 on PC 💜and consoles will have a multiplayer version of The Yard that'll let you play over the internet.

There's also no Xzibit. At lea💎st, that we know of.

Madden 21 is looking to be a fine football game. Our own 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:S🎀am Watanuki got in on the closed beta and he seemed tickled with the crisp visuals and the prospect of next-gen gameplay. You'll be able to get your hands on Madden 21 on August 28th, but Madden 21 Mobile is out now in case you can't wait that long.
